We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of space for our family. We were able to walk in the rain to Dickson Street and then on to the football game. The home was clean and neat and homey.
Hosts were lovely and super accommodating! House is in a great location for the town, walking distance to lots of places. 10/10!
The location was great and the host made us feel very welcome. Definitely contacting them again if I'm looking for a place to stay in NWA.
Great, very welcoming, house was an awesome location! Very helpful when needed.
It was great. Very homey and she answered questions when needed. Left us a little snack basket. The house was very clean. Perfect location.
Great location and accommodating host(ess). Easy walk down to Dickson street on a lighted trail. Really enjoyed our time there.
Margaret and Alyssa are wonderful hosts, and I feel I have made new friends! They are genuinely friendly, providing just the environment for a busy few weeks! Their home is comfortable, they provide all the privacy one needs for work or (email hidden)e trail behind the house is so convenient, there is no excuse not to get some outdoor time and exercise...really, the location is five star for accessibility to the university, the worldclass city library, and Dixon Street!
Looking forward to visiting you in Mexico! We miss you! Come visit us again any time! We would love it! (And by we, Oreo and Oskar are included! They miss you too.)
This location is a great place for anyone looking to visit Fayetteville and mainly the University of Arkansas. The house is a 10 minute walk to Dickson Street which is a great gathering place for students and professionals. We chose this place to stay for an away football game and it was a great time. I would recommend this place to anyone with a group of 4-6 people.
Perfect GAMEDAY rental... I had a group of 7 men. They have an air mattress and we were able to comfortably fit in the house as each person had a place to sleep. We were walking distance (under a mile) to the bars on Dixon St. that were easily accessible and safe conditions via the bike path. Fayetteville's bike path made the city pedestrian friendly as it is well-lit and extends throughout the city. The stadium is also walking distance (for a Gameday) just under 2 miles. I was surprised the hot water lasted for 7 showers. The location is away from any tailgating environment, but there is a sports bar ("Grubs") just up the street that had everything we were looking for and more... Most everyone we encountered was friendly, and I look forward to coming back some day!
I highly recommend staying with Margaret and Alyssa at this sweet little home in the historic district. They are inviting, warm, and welcoming with two sweet dogs, Oskar and Oreo. I felt at home from the moment I walked into the place due to their hospitality. If you are lucky enough, you might get to try one of Margaret's delicious kitchen creations- she makes a mean apple pie.
The room is very spacious and has a large closet. It also gets the most amount of sunlight in the house and is located in the back, away from the street. They have 3 porches, a fire pit, and a barbecue.
The bike trail is directly behind the house and behind that is a creek. It's less than 10 minute walk to Dickson St., around the corner from a pharmacy and a few restaurants, and extremely close to the public library. You will be within walking distance to most of the activities in town including the farmers' market, the university, and a plethora of bars and restaurants.
I highly recommend staying at this place and I also highly recommend hosting Margaret and Alyssa should they ever want to rent a place off AirBnB.
