Awesome experience! Was here for a wedding over memorial day, and the house was fantastic! Very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and a great location! Holly provided great recommendations and was very proactive with communication before and during our stay. HIGHLY recommend!

Overall we enjoyed our stay but we were somewhat disappointed with the house.
I'll start with the pros:
*Owners are truly kind, responsive and helpful.
*House is nicely decorated and clean and lives up to the pictures posted online.
*House is close to everything in Charlottesville.
And the negatives:
*The worst part for us was the second floor bathroom, which was leaking water through the ceiling of the kitchen. From the cracks in the ceiling it appeared this had been going on for some time. That said, the owners were very responsive and sent a plumber immediately to take a look.
*Poorly designed house such as a lack of usable mirrors in any of the bathrooms and lamps throughout the house that don't actually plug in anywhere.
Beautiful place. Well decorated. Perfectly located.
Holly and her house are absolutely amazing. She has paired the elegance of a early 20th century house and modern conveniences with seamless transition. The third floor bedroom is truly a masterpiece that rivals the very best hotel suites in New York and LA. I only wish I had more time to spend there! At one point in our stay we were having problems getting the cable to work. Despite the late hour I texted her my problem and she immediately responded. Within minutes she contacted the cable company and resolved the issue. Her communication was bar none and truly a pleasure to work with. We couldn't have have picked a more romantic house for our wedding night. Truly a gem in the heart of Charlottesville.
Holly was a wonderful host. The house was immaculate and located perfectly for our needs. The jetted tub with mountain views was awesome! Nice thick bath towels and a kitchen that could be a Cuisinart showroom. We grilled out on the spacious back deck every night. French roast coffee every morning. Definately recommend this place.
Our experience at Monticello Guest house was nothing short of marvelous. Traveling with multi-generations is sometimes a challenge, but the meld of modern and old world charm solves all of that. My 15 year old son was thrilled in the upstairs guestroom, while my mom found several cozy nooks to read throughout the house. We all felt warmly welcomed and found the house more than adequately appointed. Eating in was a breeze with the very functional kitchen and large dining room. The location was withing walking distance to downtown and just a short drive to Monticello and Ash Lawn. If ever we are traveling your way again I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else! Thank you Holly.

Holly was a wonderful and communicative host. Her home in Charlottesville is beautiful and well located. We had a great time sitting on the porches and were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to go to in C-ville. We will definitely stop back in!
Wonderful house and great experience! We were getting together with my brother and law and daughter who we had not seen in several years and the house was comfortable, nice kitchen and dining room for family meals - it was a great spot to re-connect. Holly was welcoming and gave us great restaurant recommendations and even had coffee stocked for us. The house was as it appeared in the photos and really was a beautiful place to stay!
