Can't say enough great things about this experience. Jacob was prompt with communication leading up to and during the stay. For my first airbnb stay, it could not have been better.
This doesn't even begin to account for the immaculate loft space in which I stayed. Plenty of privacy for two individuals in an amazing industrial rehab. Linens were clean, bed was made, towels provided for the guests--it was better than a hotel!
Jacob--thank you for a great stay in Boston and your great hospitality.
This lovely loft had TONS of space and a well-appointed kitchen to help us save money on food during our trip. Jacob was an attentive host and offered help if any problems arose ( none did ). The space was truly unique and beat the hell out of your average hotel.
I wish we had stayed longer!
The photos do not do this place any justice! The apartment is beyond beautiful, spacious, decorated nicely with Jacob's fabulous art. He is very accommodating with check-in/check-out. I came to Boston for a reunion with my gf and to see the St Patty's Parade which is nothing to write home about. If you decide to come here for St. Patty's south boston shuts down at 7pm so head into the city for after hours. His apartment is in a great location 10minute walking distance to Broadway metro so no need to spend $20 on a cab ride. Jacob thought of everything with towels, bathrobes, maps of the area to include transit and a laundry card, instructions for the internet and a list of places to eat, drink and buy groceries. Mazio the cat is uber cute and like most cats tends to hang out on his own. I will definitely stay here again and recommend his place for anyone who wants to see Boston and want to feel like you are staying at your friends house and not a stuffy hotel room.
This is a spacious loft illumined by beautiful watercolors by the host. It is a bit of a hike to the main neighborhoods of Boston, but doable. I spent a week in comfort using Jacob's generously shared Kitchen.
Jacob's place is one of the "artist's lofts" with comfortable character. Jacob is an accommodating host, making sure you have everything you need, and his cat, Mazio, is super friendly and cute.
Jacob's place is even nicer than it looks in the photos. Very open with lots of light. Great creative space. The kitchen is really well stocked if you'd like to cook. He was really flexible with our check in/out times. Highly recommended.
Jacob's loft is fantastic. Very roomy, comfortable and clean. I needed to be able to walk to the Financial District, so this location was great. It was very easy to work with Jacob to set up our arrival time - excellent communication pre- during- and post-stay.
I was in Boston for business and my client's office is across the street from Jacob's loft, which was too convenient to pass up. Jacob is a friendly interesting guy and his loft is a cool space with all I needed for a bit of downtime and sleeping. I will stay there again when I'm back.
Jacob's place is awesome. Jacob is a super talented artist and his work will have you just as content in your room as any sight seeing touring of Boston. I was here for work for 3 days, and Jacob was really easy to deal with. The bed was one of the most comfortable places to stay and he really thinks of all the details. He has a iron and a board in the room along with a lint roller to spruce up before a meeting! Definitely a great place.
I would say one of the most valuable parts of this place is the location. It is close to the Interstate and within a reasonable walking distance of downtown Boston. You really cannot ask for anything better for the price.
The loft was wonderful - spacious, cool and very funky. It was perfect for me who came to Boston to work, and needed a lot of space for all my radio equipment stuff. It was also beautifully decorated, with Jacob's own watercolor paintings giving it a very personal and arty touch. Jacob was extremely helpful, very kind and friendly. He took the time to quickly answer all my sometimes odd questions related to my assignment. Opposite the entrance to the building is "Mrs B's café", serving delicious, hearty and healthy foods all day long. Great breakfast sandwiches! I'd recommend this place and it's host to anyone! Very good first Airbnb experience!
PERFECT guest - clean, quiet, great communication! We'd be happy to have Jacob back and would recommend him to ANY host. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Stay again any time!
Jacob and Anne were awesome guests. Experienced travelers, adventurous, interested and responsible. I'd love to host then again in the future.
Jacob was a great communicator and seems relaxed and easygoing. I did not meet Jacob in person, but he's thorough and thoughtful.
Jacob is a very good guest, We can really recommend him! He was easy going and reactive during the reservation of our place and he left our place spotless afterwards! All thumbs up!
Jacob and Ann were great guests.
I was busy working or out of town during most of their stay so we only met briefly. They were friendly and left the house neat and clean. Very easy guests to have stay. I can highly recommend them to other hosts.
Jocob is a very kind and respectful person. I definitely recommend Jacob!
Jacob stayed with us one night. He was quiet, clean and respectful.
