We had such a wonderful time staying in this charming, beautiful home in the Highlands neighborhood in Louisville. Our hosts could not have been any more accommodating for us and went through the trouble of leaving us coffee, milk, juice and bagels as well as a great print out of things to do and favorite restaurants. They also helped us tremendously by lowering their crib mattress as we were traveling with an older baby. The house was fantastic and suited our party of 6 (including two small children, ages 3 1/2 and 1 1/2) perfectly. Especially since we had 2 children, it was perfect as they had kids' rooms, toys and other child-friendly and child-necessary gear we needed and used. Overall a great experience and both Laura and Bob were fantastic to communicate with! We would definitely come back to stay when we are in Louisville again if it's an option! This was our first experience doing this type of rental, too, and we left saying that we'd never stay in a hotel again if every stay could be like this one!
The host was extremely welcoming going so far as to leavelorange juice and bagels for our pleasure. On top of that, knowing we were travels with small children, they left out toys, swings, and pack n' play for us to use. The description of the property was accurate. We absolutely loved the neighborhood as it was in walking distance to many restaurants in the area. The owners left us a detailed list of suggestions for entertainment and restaurants they enjoyed which we found extremely helpful to us. Great home and great host.
We had a fantastic time in this gorgeous house! The house is so spacious and airy, it's perfect for a large group. To be honest, we spent almost all of our time in the wonderful screened-in porch. If we ever come back to Louisville, we would love to come back!
My family stays with Laura and her family whenever we come to Louisville for a visit. Their house is the coolest one on the block and is located in the best neighborhood in Louisville. A five minute walk to fun bars, great restaurants, good shopping and Louisville's best city park! The house layout is open and comfortable and the rooms are bright. I highly recommend staying here!
