Pauline's appartment is an intellectual oasis in the Parisian 'urban jungle'. Full of books and cd's, quite spacious and sunny, it is a welcoming place after a long day's walk in Paris. It is well located, near a grocery shop, the metro and Gare du Nord, and you can walk to the Sacre-Coeur. Pauline is very welcoming, and helpful if you need it. Great stay.
The apartement was loveley. We felt really comfortable staying at Pauline´s place! Thank´s again!
My cousin and I had a great stay and great experience with Pauline and her appartement.
She was very flexible with the check-in and check-out time and that was a very big plus, because that way, we could extend our day. We didn't meet her at all, but she made sure that we got the keys in time and had someone show us everything we needed to know. Her place is just as it is shown in the pictures. It was very clean, very spacious for two people and had everything we needed. We slept well in her bed and felt really at home at her place and that's something hotels can barely give you. And I loved, loved how she decorated her place with all those books everywhere.
The location is perfect. It was 10min away, with the metro, from Gare de l'est and had two metro lines nearby. The streets around her address are packed with bistros, boulangeries, restaurants and grocery stores - we had everything nearby.
Visiting Paris can be very very tiring. There is so much to see and you just have to walk around; exhausting you at the end of the day. We were just very grateful that we had an appartement for ourselves after a long day.
I can recommend Pauline and her appartement to everyone. It's definitely worth the stay.
Pauline's apartment is as exceptional as she is. The space is well appointed, beautifully designed and decorated, climatically comfortable, sunny, and well located. The building itself is very quiet, and afforded amazing views of the rising and setting sun-scapes/rooftops. The collection of books and music added immensely to the quality of my stay there, particularly as a writer. Pauline was especially helpful in answering my questions about the neighborhood, which by the way, is in a fantastic location that provides the guest with exceptional access to a diverse range of resources, experiences and authentic Parisian attractions beyond the beaten paths. After a month's stay, it was difficult to dislodge myself from what had become my home away from home. Thank you, dearly, Pauline, for everything. Please visit in NYC!
We loved Paulines apartment, it was just what you would imagine it to be, clean, cosy and comfortable. Set in the heart of Monmatre, the apartment is 2 minutes walk from the Metro that takes you to all of the main Paris sights. The supermarche is no more than 5 minutes away and the Sacre Coeur approx 15 minutes.
Paulines friend welcomed us into the apartment and she was very helpful in showing us around the apartment and also suggesting we try the area Abbesses for food and pubs. We took her up on her advice and Abbesses became by far our favorite area being only 15 minutes walk away or 5 minutes on the metro, it was a very happy, lively area with great restaurants. We would with out a doubt return to Paulines apartment and recommend it to anyone looking for a french apartment in the heart of Paris.
This was our first experience of Air BnB. Pauline was available to talk to and write to us right up to and throughout our 2 night stay for any directions or information relating to our time at her appartment. The olde world entrance up the winding staircase to the flat, gave a great Parisian feel. We loved Pauline's artistic and design interiors and the shower was great. Comfortable bed and lovely light comes into the appartment. Proximity to several train stations was excellent. We highly recommend Pauline's appartment for anyone who doesn't mind stairs or sleeping without curtains (mind you there are outside blinds to pull if required - which we only realised on our last day!).
gorgeous apartment in a charming building close to the subway. i had spent a week at a workshop at EnsAD and wanted a nice weekend not sharing a room with a class mate. i wish i had had more than two days to enjoy it. steps from Mont Martre and the subway it couldn't have been more lovely.
A lovely place - we were welcomed like friends and it was such a great area from which to explore Paris. The flat is cosy, bright and really well decorated, with an ace little shower!
Pauline was very friendly and helpful when I met her. The apartment was cosy and clean. It's very near to the metro which was nice.
What a great group of young women! Pauline and her three friends stayed for two nights and we really appreciate them. We had a very enjoyable moment at the beginning of their stay, discussing their trip, France and Vancouver. During their stay, they were very quite and respectful of the apartment. When they left everything was clean. Hope they had a safe trip back in Paris. We'll welcome them anytime and will have great pleasure meeting them again on a trip to Paris.
Great guest, thank you.
