I'm a 33 year old professional, working as a customer support manager for a software company. When I'm at work, I'm typically helping customers identify what their problems really are, so that we can then find ways to work through them (You might be surprised at how asking different questions can often be the key to everything...) Much of my work revolves around screen-sharing calls where I train the customers on our company's software tools. Pretty exciting,... right?
When I'm not at work; I'm a singer / songwriter / electronic-musician / recording engineer. I also work as the audio engineer for an NFL team. If you're at our game, and you don't hear the referees... it's my fault. If the national anthemist chickens-out, I'm the next in line to sing.
Before my current position, I spent 7 years working at Apple, Inc. I was a trainer in the retail stores, and for a short time, I was involved in training development at headquarters. I love technology, but I'm not constantly staring at my phone / devices.
In 2012, I started running a few times a week... and as of Sept. 2013, I celebrated my 200th mile. I ran my first 5K in July 2013, and I'm probably going to do a few more of those in the next year.
Recently, I joined the Big Brothers program, and I'm excited about being matched up with a little brother soon. It's going to an amazing experience.
I love political dramas / science-fiction / intellectual comedies... Also, I love stand-up comedy... as well as sketch comedy. I collect records, and I'm in the first steps of learning a new language.
I actually signed up for this site because all the hotels in my destination city were booked up, due to a convention... but I've never been one to cling to standard things, so I had no qualms about giving up on the hotel idea in favor of finding something unique. It's probably going to give me a much better sense of the town I'm staying in. Can't wait!!
