I've left my job as a corporate lawyer to travel the world for a year with my fiancée, Reina (she also had to quit her job as a pharmacist).
I love talking/playing/watching all sports (especially football), movies and the odd beer (which Australian doesn't!).
We like to think of ourselves as easy-going people who are happy to go with the flow.
On our trip we are basically moving westerly around the world. We start in Asia, move to the Middle East, then on to Europe and finally South America. We will be getting married in Chile (Reina's background) at the very end of our trip (circa June 2014).
As far as travelling goes we prefer to do things the way locals do. That is, we try to avoid planned tours and such. Although there are the occasional struggles (especially where there is a language barrier), we find this way more rewarding as it gives us a closer insight into the culture of the location.
