Host consigliato!
Disappointed, while the apartment was large and within walking distance to many sites and the railway ,the apartment was a let down. The pictures show a lovely well furnished place however one of the two toilets was broken the other had an active leak. One shower was hanging of the wall the other was used as a storage room. The furnishings were in need of a good clean there was moldy food in the fridge and the kitchen was full of empty beer and wine bottles(must have been a hell of a party) There was no tv as advertised and the kitchen wall was covered in graffiti (the crude large drawing of a man and appendage did not go down well with my family) Not recommended Do not believe the pictures.
Nevermind we stayed only one night, our experience in Caserta was great. The house is very cozy and nice, the city is interesting.
When we arrived Gennaro was very helpful in directing us to the apartment and also gave us a wonderful tour around the neighborhood. It is located in the heart of the historic district which is a great section of the city. The area is full of exciting street life, wonderful historic churches and museums. The apartment was simply furnished and a good value for the money.
We arrived a little earlier then expected but it seemed that Gennaro was ready to bring us the the keys regardless. His place is pretty large and has 2 sleeping rooms one of which we used. According to him (and the cross vault ceiling kind of proves it) the building once served as sleeping rooms for the monks of the church you see out of the window.
There is a kitchen and clean bathrooms which you can use. Gennaro got us the keys and some really helpful information along with it. He hand drew a map and we were able to bolt right into Napoli's craziness. Awesome place. I get why some people are unsure about it, but I can say if you like it edgy this is the place. If no one has called it that yet. I do so now: Napoli is the Berlin of the South.
Un très agréable et très chaleureux air d'Italie à la maison...
É stato un vero piacere ospitare questa giovane coppia, molto simpatici , puliti e ordinati . Davvero degli ospiti impeccabili ! Super raccomandati!
Gennaro booked by apartment for two is his friends as a surprise. They were really lovely and left it in perfect condition.
Gennaro and his friend are excellent guests. I recommend
Very nice people, it was a pleasure to meet and host them. Wish you all the best!!!
Although I did not get to meet Gennaro or his friends, I was told by my father-in-law that they were very nice and friendly people. They left the apartment in a clean condition and we had no problems at all with them.
