I was born in the spicy province of Hunan and raised in the Windy City. I love cooking and eating all kinds of food, specially Mediterranean dishes. Traveling to new places on my own is my new hobby and I have been lucky to work at a job that allows me to trek the global little by little. I enjoy meeting new friends, learning about different things, and discovering very old things. I can't live without NPR, TED, iphone, cronuts (they are so addictive...) and chilli bean paste.
