This is the first place I will be checking availability at for my next trip to SF. The location and the apartment itself are perfect. Grant was responsive and provided a wealth of information prior to my arrival to ensure a seamless trip.
Sleek and efficient and in a great location. Grant has lots of interesting books, kitchenware and art to give character to the place. He's a generous and gracious host! Good experience.
Loved it, loved it, loved it! I could not have asked for a better place to stay in San Francisco. Impeccably clean, bright, and spacious, in a safe and upscale part of town, close to neighborhood shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the MUNI station, but nestled in a very quiet and charming part of town. Grant was a remarkable host. He gave very clear instructions on everything I needed to know about my stay, from check-in to check-out to neighborhood gems. Definitely worth returning to.
Fantastic location and apartment. It is minimalistic as described, but had everything you'd need to make yourself at home. Grant was a responsive host and made the process of booking and check-in a breeze.
Grant's place was everything we hoped for. A very comfortable space that is minimal in a good way, it was also well appointed and clean ... exactly as shown in the photos. Grant was great to coordinate with, offered useful information on the area, and is just about as good of a host as you'll find on Airbnb. Highly recommended.
Grant was a fantastic and generous host. He was extremely prompt with communication, providing clear, detailed information about the apartment and he even had a map full of recommendations for the area. The apartment is exactly as pictured (it's pretty cool!), was very clean and in a great central area of SF. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here.
I stayed here for 3 days with a friend of mine and we regretted we couldn't stay longer: the house is really nice, perfectly located, in a quiet area but really close to Castro nightlife center and city centre as well (few metro stops or munibus). Unfortunately we were not able to meet Grant as our flight was delayed, but everything was smooth, and he was able to welcome us in his house anyway with nice treats. He left us also a good list of suggestions, that showed us very nice areas of San Francisco. I definetely recommend the place.
Grant was a great guest! Left the place in very tidy condition and seemed like a super polite person. :)
Although I never met with Grant we had good communication both before and during his stay, which was comforting, and he showed great respect dor my place. My warmest recommendations.
Grant and his girlfriend are lovely to host as guests! They treated my apartment as their home and took absolute great care of it! I would love to have them back and would highly recommend them as guests. Greetings from Stockholm, Sweden
Grant stayed with us for just a few days. He is an experienced traveler, very neat, respectful, and super cool guy. On the last day of his stay he shared with me some wonderful recommendations for art exhibits that I am looking forward to checking out. I would definitely recommend Grant as both an excellent guest and host!
Grant and his partner were really great. The night they arrived, the apartment was not quite ready for them -- bed had not been made, laundry and cleaning products had not been put away, etc. As soon as I realized what had happened, I called Grant to find him totally relaxed about it; he and his girlfriend (thankfully) turned out to be resourceful types!! Thank you Grant! You guys are welcome anytime!
Grant was an ideal guest. He communicated well, and left the place immaculate after a three week stay. I would definitely recommend him!
Grant stayed for two nights and was so quiet, we hardly even knew he was there. We don't often hang out with our guests, as we like to give them space, but he accepted our invitation for Christmas Day tea, and we enjoyed getting to know him. We've met some really great people through AirBnB, and Grant is not exception.
It was a pleasure to host Grant at our place and we will be happy to do it again whenever.
We highly recommend to host him!
Grant is a friend and used to be my neighbor as well as co-worker. He is super nice, knowledgeable, interesting and fun. I would stay at his house if he lets me and would rent him mine anytime.
Every interaction with Grant is a delight. He's a warm, interesting, and curious gentleman that everyone loves to have around. As you can tell from the photos of his place, this guy has good taste. I'd love to stay at his place in SF or welcome him to my home in NYC. Either way, you're guaranteed a good experience.
Grant is as respectful as the day is long. He stayed at my place once and the smell of periwinkle and Christmas morning covered my belongings for weeks.
Grant is a friendly, neat and meticulous designer with great taste and who happens to be super fun to hang out with. Since he is always doing the coolest things, you can always count on him to give you a great recommendation for things to watch, eat, listen to and do. Stay at his pad, or rent him yours, it'll be a good time.
I currently work with Grant at a tech company. He is a grat colleage. I know that his positive traits from work will transfer as an airbnb host. Grant is really responsible and has impeccable taste. He has attention to detail which I'm sure will come in handy as well.
When Grant and I went to SF on business he knew all of the cool places to go. He also has a great barometer on what is cool in New York.
