I work for a local company in Bend. I consider myself to be fun with a dry sense of humor. I can give you info on all the great places to go while you're here.

Wow! This experience way surpassed my expectations. One great host with a fantastic personality. The house was clean and abundant with gorgeous smelling candles, lotions, wash gels for hair and skin, etc! Great conversations and space to be alone. I would HIGHLY recommend THIS place to stay in Bend. VERY close to EVERYTHING. Centrally located. Minutes from Whole Foods Market as well. I enjoyed meditating by the fire with Gunther (dog.) Thank you, Susan!
Clean home, gracious host, convenient location. The dog was a hit with my granddaughter!
What a great weekend! I came to Bend for 4 days of boarding on Mt Bachelor and I needed a place to stay for 3 nights. Susan was my first Airbnb host so I wasn't sure what to expect, and she surpassed my expectations anyway! She has a very clean house and provided a clean bedroom, with clean sheets and towels. She gave me ideas on things to do in my free time, or places to shop for what I was looking for, and she knows Bend well enough that she was able to give easy directions to places or events around town. She was there at the house for my whole stay, and it was nice to have the company and conversation when I was just hanging around the house. Gunther (her chihuahua) yaps for maybe 30 seconds when you walk in the door (he's just so excited), then he settles down and is very friendly.
I definitely plan on staying at Susan's the next time I'm in Bend overnight (if she has an open room!)
