Below average experience. When my parents and me arrived, we were told that the room we had booked was occupied by someone else and even though they arranged for us to stay at another hotel, it was a place with a very different vibe, one of those unpersonalized hotel blocks. Furthermore, we had initially booked 3 nights and ended up staying only 2 and had communicated that with Ankur a couple of weeks before arriving. He said we would take care of the refund once we got to rishikesh. We still had to go several times from our Hotel to Tripti to ask for the refund though.
Wouldn't recommend anyone staying there. There are much nicer places to stay in a much better location at the Ganges.
My stay at Ankur was great. The boys were excellent and showed me around Rishikesh. The rooms were clean, and the bed was the warmest you can find there. Will be going there again very soon.
Ficamos no hotel do Ankur por 3 noites. A cidade de Rishikesh é incrível e gostamos muito do hotel. O restaurante é muito bom.
I arrived at Tripti night time and was welcomed by Sunil who was looking after the guest house. I immediately felt safe and happy. Sunil is a lovely, caring and warm man he is also a trekking guide and offers many different treks up the mountains at the right time of year.
My room was better than what I had expected, large with high ceilings, simple but clean enough. Three more rooms were being done up during my stay and they are beautiful, spacious and have balcony's. Tripti was for me a perfect location away from the bustle of the market but an easy 10 min walk to Laxman Jhula Bridge and all the restaurants and shops and the breathtaking Ganga! Tripti is in Tapovan the top part of Laxman Jhula and there are also cafes, restaurants and shops near by. When Sunil left for trekking 2 young guys came to look after Tripti; Mann Singh and Sagar who are both great and have become good friends to me. They are also great cooks! The food offered is reasonably priced and tasty! I did not meet Ankur as he was away tending to his father but I did have the pleasure of meeting his wife Sushmita who is both beautiful and lovely.
Rishikesh is full of love and peace, filled with natural beauty go with an open heart and you can not be dissapointed!
Ankur and his father Atul both are very kind, friendly, helpful, worthwhile trust. Although simple but they are always willing to give the best to guests. I enjoy my stay with this nice family. Good location, not far from the heart area Laxman Jhoola bridge, walking distance. New rooms are under construction, could be a good choice after setting up. 嘿，这是很好的一家人，值得信任，推荐给中国的朋友们:)。Ying from Beijing
You arrive at Tripti and feel welcome instantly. Ankur is a wonderful person, in the most easy and simple way possible. The location of the place is very good and probably will please most travelers.
The place is simple. People seeking comfort should look elsewhere. But if you want to stay with nice people in Rishikesh, this is the place.
Had a great stay in Rishikesh! Room was big, and the bed was comfortable. The only thing we wished is that the use of the kitchen was included in the stay. All in all though a great place to stay, and the staff are very helpful!
Tripti might very well have the comfiest beds in all of India. The people are all warm and loving, and assure that you are comfortable and happy. The room and bathroom felt and seem to be very clean (improvements since other reviews). Yoga and food available upon request. I am deeply thankful for my stay here. It's pretty peaceful, great place to meditate and write. Tucked away from many of the hustle and bustle of the markets and stuff near by. I highly suggest booking the Tripti for your stay in Rishikesh. Namaste!
Ankur was the best part of Tripti. She was lovely. The hotel is under construction. I'm sure it will be great when it's complete. Until then, there were three rooms, and we got the smelly one. Try to stay in one of the others.
Answar was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. There's a waterfall nearby and lots of good yoga that you need to ask the locals about! I only heard of the good yoga spots after I moved over to Laxman Jhula area. Also, keep in mind... it's India so everything is kind of dirty and doesn't work great... unless you pay top dollar.
