Very nice place in midtown. Highly recommended. The chicken soup was outstanding.
My stay in Ashley's apartment was excellent !! I loved her apartment It is very clean and cozy. Her reception was amazing and I didn't had any problem contacting her. I really liked her place, and all the complements she left us. I would definitely consider this place, if I go to Manhattan again.
I loved Ashley's apartment. She was very thoughtful to arrange the pick up of the key because of the holiday. The neighborhood is safe and convenient. I would rent her place again when I return to New York City.
I really enjoyed staying at Ashley's place. The walk-up apartment is in a great location in the midtown area. Apartment has a great homey feel with plenty of room to relax and do work. I would highly recommend this place.
My friend and I had a different airbnb originally booked, but the renter cancelled last minute. Luckily we found Ashley's CHARMING apartment and were able to book right away. My friend and I fell in love with the apartment. It's warm, cozy, and provided everything we needed. It's in a great location near the F station and also some landmarks such as the Rockefeller Center and Radio Music Hall. We were so happy that we ended up here and plan on staying here again the next time we visit New York!
Ashley's description was exactly as it was! The place was clean, bright, warm and ideally located. I would be thrilled to go to the same apartment next time. She was also very responsive and accommodating… She even was able to bring the keys to my parents place because of an emergency that happened to us here in Los Angeles!
Thank you, Ashley, for a great stay.
Ashley's apartment is a perfect find for a stay in NYC. Located in Midtown, a couple of minutes from Central Park, 5th Avenue shopping, and steps from the F train, you can't ask for a better location to explore the city. The apartment was pin-neat when we arrived, decorated in a lovely, simple style, and the bed and furnishings were extremely comfortable. Ashley made check-in and check-out simple, and responded to texts and emails very promptly. I recommend both Ashley and her apartment to anyone looking for a great location for both a home base and a place to relax in New York!
What to say: Excellent location! The place (wich is lovely) was as describe. Ashley was a great host. Would go back any time! Tgank you for receiving us in your home.
Ashley responded instantly to my booking request and was terrific with up front communication. Her place was a great fit for my wife and I. It's a few floors up on walk-up on a very central (and relatively busy) midtown street. While the street is busy/noisy, the apartment is reasonably well insulated and quiet, especially if you use one of the many provided fans.
All the needed amenities are present, including a great coffee maker. The bed was comfy and the linens were very nice. The A/C keeps the apartment comfortable. I would recommend this apartment highly for a couple looking for a place in midtown.
Ashley was easy to rent from and more than helpful and accommodating to our needs as guests. She went out of her way to ensure our satisfaction. The apartment has an excellent location, not far from Central Park, Times Square, and the subway!
Ashley and her boyfriend were a delight to meet. As a fellow AirBnB host, she knows how to be a great guest. Easy communication prior and during her stay, great respect for our house, and left it super clean. We would welcome her back at any time. People like Ashley make AirBnB such a nice experience.
I am Ashley's sister. I know her well. You will not regret staying in her apartment. Last year, I commuted between New Haven and Philadelphia and would stay 1-3 nights/week with Ashley in her apartment. Every time I arrived in NYC at Ashley's apartment, I felt happy and content in the city. The entire apartment is tastefully done (I know because I helped put it together!). There is abundant seating in the living room. The apartment has a full, true bedroom with a door that closes it off from the rest of the apartment, and with its own heating/a/c unit. The kitchen feels totally new and modern. The apartment does NOT have that feel that so many NYC apartments have of being too small or cramped. To the contrary, it feels spacious and welcoming. One thing I always appreciated about staying in Ashley's apartment was its proximity to almost every subway you would need to go anywhere in NYC. The 4/5 is right outside her door, and the 2/3, A/C/E, and N/R/Q/W are within a couple of blocks. It eliminates the need to spend money on a cab or stand around in the street waiting for one late at night--just take the subway! If you are a young professional with relatively high standards but an eye for a good deal, you do not want to pass up this opportunity to stay in Ashley's apartment.
The view from this apartment - fortunately unobstructed by any taller buildings for many blocks - is the first thing you'll notice. Next is the friendly beige and green tones of the immaculately appointed living room and bedroom. You will definitely feel that you are in an upscale Manhattan apartment in a secure building. With access to the subway across the street, a French restaurant on the building's first floor, drug/convenience store next door, the 9/11 memorial only a few blocks away, and Broadway a half block away, you will have easy access to everything. You'll sleep well in a quiet bedroom and find refuge from your busy day in the big green chair! I have loved staying in this immaculate apartment and will do it again soon.
