May I begin by introducing myself, my name is Leanne and I am an artist and filmmaker for science. I live in the wonderful seaside town of Bournemouth but often work in London where I need a place to rest my head for one or two nights a week. I am currently working at the Natural History Museum, which is likely to see me through into next year. I have a love of the weird and wonderful in science and the Wellcome Collection is somewhere that fulfills this curiosity. I love a good documentary, David Attenborough is my hero and I only tend to read non-fiction. New Scientist is my publication of choice and it is likely I will request a peppermint tea, given the choice.
As a guest I am very respectful that, whilst I am paying for the pleasure, I am also in someones home and I treat it like my own. I do expect a fair amount of communication with a host and I do like to feel welcome and safe. As I work the entire time I am in London, a quiet, peaceful nights sleep is what I like and I do enjoy a good breakfast (preferably with fruit).
I love the ethos of Airbnb and the community it has created. It is a pleasure to be a part of this movement and I look forward to meeting more of you.
