I LOVE THE LIVE !!!!
THE LIVE IT'S LOVE !!!
live every minuts how it's your last one minuts
The apartment was modern, clean and perfectly located close to some of the most popular attractions in Barcelona. We got in around midnight and were able to meet with one of Alex's colleagues who showed us around the apartment and explained the different appliances. We were able to walk to Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. The metro is also conveniently located if you need to go somewhere farther away. I definitely recommend this apartment if visiting Barcelona.
It was a small, but cosy apartment. Perfect location! Big roof-top terasse, worth climbing the steep 98 steps to get to the top! ;) Try the bike-shop around the corner were you can rent retro fixie bikes, for a fun and cool way to get around the city!
Our stay at Alex's appartment was very cool. The street is very quiet and we enjoyed the terrasse. The location is perfect.

Nice, quiet Appartment, cool in summer because of the garden. Alex is a hepful, friendly and nice Person. Thanks.

The studio was spacious enough and included all the basics, complete cooking facility, hair dryer, even an iron and table- ironing (website hidden) was quiet at night( except for late traffic on the stairs)
Alexi has about 120 apartments in Barcelona, find out which flat other visitors are talking about before you put too much stake on the review.
Communication with the host was minimal. Notice that we should call him from the airport so he could notify his key guy, would have been useful. a map of the area and a walk marked out to the address as well. We arrived late-ish and were robbed TWICE while we were wandering around in the dark looking for the house. Turned out we were on the very doorstep of the place!! not necessary at all.
little things in the house - no light during the day, no darkness at night because of the one window - which has no curtain... the light in the stairwell was out of order all week- and the stairs were steep and irregular. I have pointed out this to Alexi and he answered straight away with thanks for the advice - so , maybe he'll do that. oh yes: and bring along extra towels. we got 2 for the week - and 1 small one. and maybe a tea towel?
and other than that, we had a great - though sleepless and foto-less stay in Barcelona.
Response from Alex:
My first airbnb experience was a negative one.
positive was the area the ap. is based and the internet which worked perfect.
I arrived and the concierge asked me for deposit and for the rent in cash. although I paid by creditcard before. The room is really small and there is no sun light. There are some windows to the inner courtyard but there are 3 levels over you. Unfortunatly the windows don't have curtain to block the view to your room. Expecialy one to your bed, so the neighbour can have a peep show.
There is also a small dirty couch but too small that a full grown person could sleep there.
Its totaly overpriced and I wouldn't recommend to stay there.
We rented the studio apartment for over 7 weeks. I stayed there for a week and my son Michael stayed the remaining weeks while he attended school. It's a great apartment, smartly decorated with all the necessities. A patio window leads out to a small but cute balcony with a cute view of the garden below. The apartment is also located in a great area easily accessible to everything you need. Alex and his team were very helpful and responsive. Thank you
