Response from Elena:
Points taken and I admit I had difficulties managing requests from all guests due to initial guest extending the stay beyond mutually agreed time. He was staying long term and I did not want to make him move again to look for a new place only 2 weeks before his departure from Singapore. I offered Annick my room to stay which is twice as large as the junior room and actually has walk in toilet/shower, so I thought it would compensate for the change in arrangement (the price point difference is around 30$/day). I planned to be away for all two weeks - vacation and staying with my boyfriend, but it did not fully go according to plan (my fault). I had no choice as to sleep on the sofa. I did come home quite late every evening to make sure I do not disturb Annick. I was not aware that desk/table was a must have requirement, otherwise, I would have arranged for a small table to be put in the bigger room. Annick chose to communicate all her concerns to me via email and did not talk to me directly to explain/point out anything of a concern. Maybe that was partially the reason for me to misunderstand the level of comfort.
It was my first Air bnb experience and now I have learnt the lesson and will make sure there is a 1-2 days between guests arrivals and departures to avoid discomfort for everyone as not all guests are easy going.
