I would describe myself as quiet, compassionate and considerate. My daily regime includes yoga and meditation, though I am not obsessive about it when on holiday. Five things I can't live without: my pot of green tea in the mornings, soya milk, grapefruit, my moisturiser and my MacBook Pro. I am very eclectic in my tastes in music, books and food. My style of travelling can vary from luxury to backpacking, but I derive more pleasure from the latter.
My idea of hosting is to make the guest feel as much at home as possible. A comfortable bed, lighting, a local hand-drawn map, clean surroundings are important and whenever possible, a home-cooked meal.
