The host was quite welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, the place itself was large and comfortable and warm. I had a pleasant stay!
Nadim was a great host and was quick to fix any issues that arose.
The apartment was perfect for our 7 week stay, limited kitchen but mostly what you need for a short stay. Wifi can be patchy and slow at times as mentioned in the listing, although some days didn't work at all. To Nadim's defence we didn't mention this during our stay so he may have been able to fix it.
Many cafes and bars around (check out '(website hidden)' restaurant down the street) and a Netto Supermarket close by.
Very clean and cozy apartment. Perfect to feel yourself home away from home.
Wi-fi connection was pretty decent and worked in the kitchen area. Good and calm location with no crazy tourists around. Close to some cool and authentic cafes. 20 minutes away from my favorite Club Der Visionaire. Thank you Nadim!
We spent two wonderful weeks in Berlin and Nadim's place was the perfect spot to get a good sense of the city. The neighborhood is very lively with lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby and at the same time the apartment is quiet and comfortable.
Nadim was very nice and helpful - gave us some great tips about places to see and how to get around the city.
Nadim's flat was the perfect place for my two month stay in Berlin. I'm smiling writing this review and looking at the pictures. His place is everything advertised and more. Nadim was a responsive and laid back host. It's one of the best Air BnB experiences I've had. I would definitely stay there again, and recommend it highly.
Here are some highlights:
Location: The flat is located in an ideal central location to explore Berlin on a quiet, cobblestone street.
There are restaurants (e.g., high end, quick bites, Vietnamese, Italian, German, Turkish, Chinese, Moroccan, Mexican, others), cafes, bars, supermarkets, shopping, and parks within a ten minute walk of the place.
One of my favorite places was the Markethalle IX which is a restored historic building that has a supermarket; stands during the day with purveyors offering baked goods, wine, meat, and veggies; and special activities such as a street food night, cooking classes, and homemade sausage and beer parties.
It's about a 20 minute walk to the bi-weekly Turkish Market where you can buy low-priced fresh produce (or higher priced organic produce) and watch the swans swim along the river.
There are live music venues and clubs within a 20 minute walk.
There are two U-Bahn stops nearby, one a 5 minute walk away, and one a 15 minute walk away.
Living Room: The floor to ceiling windows give the spacious living room tons of light.
Patio: I stayed during the winter, so I got to see the snow fall on the patio. It was an ideal place to watch New Year's fireworks. I imagine during the summer it'll be a great place for BBQing and eating meals outside.
Wi-Fi: Fast and dependable. I worked remotely with my colleagues based in the US and had no issues during my time there.
Kitchen: Large and well stocked with everything you need to cook.
Bed: Comfortable. There's a skylight above the bed, and on clear nights you can see the stars.
I am smiling reading this review, thank you very much !
Staying at Kaazi's place puts you right in the center of a very vibrant and lively neighborhood. Weserstrasse has many great bars and cafes and there are great public transportation just around the corner.
The place itself is a ground floor apartment in the backyard with easy access. It's clean and has high ceilings. The kitchen is small but useful. No oven though. There's a heating system and the apartment is nice and toasty even when Berlin puts on it's Winter outfit.
We stayed for three months and enjoyed our stay in Neukölln.
This is a great place, comfortable and spacious for two people. NK is a great neighborhood as well, lots of bars and food nearby.
We stayed at Kaazi's flat for just over a month, and really enjoyed our time in Berlin. The best thing about the flat was the location. It was in a really central area, close to lots of supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the Turkish markets (on Tuesdays and Fridays) which was great. The apartment was clean and tidy and well equipped. For longer stay visitors there is a laundromat close by on Reuterstraße.
Stayed more than a month in the Summer 2012. The location was great. It is about 100 meters to the Hohenzollernplatz U-bhf and about 400 meters from the Fehrbelliner Platz. U-bhf. There are several nearby restaurants and a bakery located on the corner and side street.. The apartment is located on the ground floor.
The living room is large, and has two chairs and two sofas (one sofa pulls out into a relatively comfortable bed).. Hohenzollerndamm is quite busy, so keeping windows open on the street can be annoying. A fan was provided to help circulate the warm air when you choose to close the windows. At night, you will want to close the rolling shutters for privacy, as the lace curtains provide no privacy after sunset when you turn on the living room lights. There is a dining room table that seats 8 located in the living.
The bedroom is set in the back of the apartment against the "Hof" garden. It was always quiet so having the window open all the time was easy. There are steel bars in place for security. The bedroom is large with a huge closet where you will hang all your clothes, since no dresser is provided. The curtains provide a sense of privacy if that is a concern.
The kitchen had plenty of utensils for cooking meals. A full set of dishes and cups were provided. There is a small table that seats 4 in the kitchen.
The bathroom included a shower, tub, and sink with two drawers. All functioned properly.
Nadim is a very nice and easy going guy. We have good talks together.
And I would recommend anyone to host him. Nadim could even help you to promote your hospitality business with his online skills.
The same to you, thank you !
It was a blast having kazi stay with us I recommend him to anyone. He is clean and tidy and keeps to himself .
It was great staying here for a couple of months whilst I found my feet on my return to Berlin. Really great location and a lovely space. KreuzKolln is a really awesome area which is both quiet and peaceful but not far from really nice bars and the 'real' Berlin. Kaazi is a great host, with a friendly, responsible and no hassel approach. Enjoy your stay and enjoy Berlin!
