My wife and I are working professionals who love to travel, eat good food, and hit up the rich music and theater scene in LA. We work long hours, but will be available for any questions or help you may have.

This my first experience with Airbnb, and it was a wonderful experience, I don't want to travel any other way. Chelsea and Jeff have an amazing apartment, so clean and beautifully decorated. They showed kindness and generosity to us that made my traveling partner and I feel right at home. The apartment is in a great location, not far from Santa Monica or Venice Beach! There were lots of great restaurants and fun activities to do nearby so we were never bored. I would highly recommend Chelsea and Jeff, they were sweet hosts and wonderful people. Thank you guys for having us and for befriending us as well!
We were in a pinch to find a place for night and Jeff and Chelsea were happy to accommodate us (including our busy 18 month old child.) Upon our arrival Jeff greeted us, gave us our keys, and helped us feel at home. The private room and bathroom couldn't have been any cleaner. High ceilings, an open floor plan, and a good-sized balcony made us feel like we were staying in a hotel that we could never afford. The sub $100 price makes it one of the most affordable places in the area.
Parking is usually a challenge in LA, but it was plentiful along Sepulveda right in front of the building.
The place is really nice, the view is amazing, there's a cool balcony and I found everything I need on the kitchen. Queens is a great place, there are shops, restaurants and the MoMA PS1! It was not the cleanest place, but Ok.
Thank you Jeff for the perfect stay over 9 days in NYC. The apartment was amazing, clean and a lot of privacy and of course the best view over manhattan. Jeff organized our stay in the most uncomplicated way. We met his friendly roommate and another Airbnb guest, nice chats and we felt all the time very comfortable. I highly recommend Jeff as a Airbnb host.
Thanks for the perfect stay in such a nice apartment. We extended our stay in Jeffs apartment for another 8 nights :-) Good connection to midtown via subway, everything is exactly like in the pictures. Best regards, Marvin
Great appartment, exactly as pictured. Very well located! I would definitely go back! Thanks!
I stayed at Jeff's place for about four days and had a good overall stay. I never met Jeff during this time but only communicated over emails and phone calls. Jeff answered all my questions/queries right away. I rented the couch space and everything was exactly as described in the advertisement on airbnb. This space is perfect for a solo traveller.
The location of the apartment is fantastic and the views from the living room and balcony are simply amazing. I am a photographer on the side and really enjoyed taking photos from the balcony as well as from the Hunter's point park which is right outside the front door of the building. The Vernon Blvd. and Jackson Ave. subway stop is about two blocks from the place and this makes this location very convenient.
If you rent the couch, you have the added benefit of enjoying the large TV at anytime in the living room. Jeff also offers free wifi for his guests which is a definite plus. There were other guests in the apartment in other rooms and I had a good interaction with all of them. It is a good way to meet new people and to hear about their experiences. I am a social person so I really enjoyed that.
My only recommendation for Jeff is to ensure ensure that the place is kept dusted and vaccumed properly so that guests have a good overall experience.
Overall, I am a happy camper and will book again with Jeff.
It was a pleasant and warm experience staying at Jeff's apartment. The view from the living room is priceless. We could boast about it to New Yorkers also. The access to the entire apartment (shared spaces) makes you feel very comfortable. Also you could access the subway and the ferry across to the Manhattan. Best place to stay in New York if you want to see Manhattan every day. Thanks Jeff
The apartment was exactly as the picture, with a great view.
My family and I stayed there for 4 days and I felt like we were at home.
It's close to the subway, only two blocks, and few minutes to Times Square.
He answered all my questions and gave me tips about some stores.
It could be a bit cleaner but in overall it was very good to be there, I would love to come back to NY and stay at Jeff's place.
I definitely would recommend to anyone.
I was not going to write a review but after the last night of our stay, I felt I must, though I know Jeff is moving and don’t know how relevant it may be. The view is spectacular and it is very convenient to the MTA and ferry into the City. I had emailed several times and texted prior to staying with concerns about parking especially since I was traveling with a child. He assured me each time it was not a problem, you could park free on the streets. When we got in on Monday, the 23rd after a 7 hour drive in from Canada, there were no spaces to be found within 5 city blocks and after an hour of driving around, I finally parked in a garage, which cost me $20 for 14 hours. We moved it the next day to park at the East River Ferry, which they were gracious to allow us to park there all day. After 9 pm and again, riding around for almost an hour, we did find a place to park 4 city blocks away. In talking with the locals, clearly most cars that are parked on the street NEVER move and restaurant owners, grocery store staff, local police and even his own doorman said no one EVER finds a space on that side of Vernon Ave. Because we were there to enjoy the city so the room itself was not as important and I knew it was minimal, but literally there was not a clothes hanger, table or a drawer in the room. But the last night was inexcusable. CLEARLY on the website it said check in was at 3 pm. We were transferring from one room to the master and Jeff said he would not be able to clean until 5 pm, which he text me. I stated that would be ok, because we probably would not get back in until 7 pm or so. We didn’t arrive until 9:15 pm, exhausted from a full day walking and touring into a room where the bed was stripped and no linens, the bathroom had not been cleaned, and still had a dirty, wet washcloth in it from the previous guest with hair all over the floor. I moved my son in the room and then I walked into the living room where Jeff is laid out on the couch, on the phone, and I asked about the bedding. He never moves, doesn’t get off the phone and says they are still in the dryer. I go back in the room, wait and wait and finally go and get everything out of the dryer and make our own bed. I hope the previous guest or myself is going to get a refund on a cleaning fee. Based upon reviews, they must be his friends, because one even said they had a pool in the building. The pool he shows, they have access to but is in another building that is a...
