I am a Chinese-American currently living and working as a social worker serving people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in San Francisco, CA. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and have lived in San Diego, California where I received my undergraduate degree in urban studies and planning; Paris, France where I studied art history; and New York, New York where I studied architecture. My love for travel stems from my passion for cities, urban life, and equitable development serving all income groups within global city-regions.
In part from my study abroad experience in France, I have traveled to 15+ countries in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. I speak English fluently with basic proficiency in French and Cantonese (Chinese). My personal interests include rock climbing, coffee and coffee shops, urban art, street side food vendors and outdoor markets, restaurants, history, writing, photography, street performers, contemporary art and museums, public parks, and leisurely walks in urban areas.
