Best experience ever ! Big bedroom for us with convenient toilet . Nice view and nice host !
I had a great time at this place. Rina is very nice and accomodating, so I felt very welcome during my stay.
The room was spacious and very clean as was the rest of the house (including shared facilities).
The location is exceptional! It is only a short walk to Paia's town center and it is the perfect starting point to explore Maui.
Overall I had a wonderful time and will definitely return.
Rina was very friendly and helpful. She seemed very organized, providing us with useful information before arrival. The room was better than I expected (Rina also provided beach towels, umbrella, and mats). We used the kitchen, living room, tv, etc. and had a parking space. It was very convenient to have a private toilet and a small porch with refrigerator and microwave to ourselves. The location was close to town, grocery store, and the beach. I would stay there again!
Rina communicated well before we arrived with the information we needed to find the unit, including very detailed directions and a private code to enter the room. The room was quiet and comfortable. We really liked the private balcony and the nice shared kitchen and sitting areas.
The location of the place is very nice and you can walk into the beautiful town of Paia and even do your shoppings without a car. The own parking spot in front of the house is really helpful because the town is always crowded and there are lots of cars.
The room has everything needed. Also the kitchen and the bathroom are well equipped. There's no air-condition but the fans do just fine. The room has an own toilet which is separated by a sliding room. It's a bit weird in the beginning but you can always use the bathroom down the hall.
We only met Rina once but she's the kind of person you immediately like. If we ever come back to Hawaii we will definitely stay at her place again!
RIna is a most organized airbnb host. Fantastic communication ahead of time with everything ready for the visit. She answered all our questions even before we had time to ask them. She provided beach towels plus cooler, chairs, bookie board. Rina was always available, either close by or via a phone call.
Rina made us wonderfully welcome and provided all the extras to make us comfortable... warm extra blanket, beach chairs, boogie board, beach towels, washer and dryer, private porch and view of the ocean. Our parking place was off road and covered. The house was roomy, clean and only a short walk to town with a Mana Foods store and restaurants! The location was wonderful for many adventure choices. We saw surfers, giant turtles and whales from an overlook just a mile or so down the road.
Perfect location! Near all amenities! Easy access. Clean. Has all the extras you need (towels, etc). Good wifi! Right next to liquor store. Great host! Would go here again. Has three other suites so lots of social opportunity but is set up so you don't need to be social if you don't want to.
Rina really did her best to make everyone feel comfortable at her place -starting from a letter with detailed explanation of how to find her (with photos! well done!) to minor pleasantries like beach bags or private fridge on our lanai. There is a big, well-eqipped kitchen which is always available, laundry facilities and a cosy common living-room.
But I hate to say, this place had too many insects for me (I have arachnophobia). To begin with, ants are all around the place! But to make things still worse, due to continuous rain that we'd had for almost 6 nights and a sugar cane field nearby we found five-six spiders (not poisonous!) in the house. That did make my stay and another girl's next door a nightmare.
I am sure this place has a lot of potential being situated in such atmospheric place as Paia, but I'm sure there should be a way to protect your house from insects! All the best and good luck!
