Irish, married to Eugene O'Carroll. We love to spend our holidays in Ireland or in the Austrian Alps resort of Zell am See.
I stayed with Margaret for three months. The room was perfect, the house was clean and organized. Margaret & Eugene are so nice- I had a lovely time. Simon was also very helpful and kind. Would HIGHLY recommend. Perfect location to everything!
Thank you Gretchen for your kind remarks, It was a pleasure to have you as a Guest and hope you enjoy your trip around Ireland. Regards
Eugene & Margaret, Aghadoe House, Dublin

Just in case the translation is off, here is an English statement of mine:
Only downside: the Wi-Fi is really slow (it is shared with at least 6 people)
The dryer and the washing machine are top-notch!
The time at Margaret's place was very enjoyable. If you get along with the other residents to an extent where you can enjoy a small chat in the kitchen or at the lunch table, you will quickly feel at home.
Every room has its own bathroom. I have seen two rooms with their respective bathrooms and these were always in a top condition. Especially the beds are super comfortable! The splendid work of the cleaning person should also not be neglected! Once a week your bed and bathroom look like fresh from the store, while your personal belongings are well-respected!
There's a Tesco with all daily necessities within a one bus stop range or 5-10 minutes by foot, depending on your walking speed. The three bus lines (bus stop immediately in front of the door!) easily bring you to the city centre. With two of them driving to O'Connell Street and one driving to Four Courts, where you can change to the tram (luás) if necessary.
One thing be told: The value-for-money is close to unbeatable!
Timmy ,Thank you very much for the kind review. You are quiet right , The Wi Fi is faf far too slow and this will be addressed when I return in April. Regards Margaret
The house and the room were very clean and nice. Margaret replied as soon as she can und simon was very kind and helped always when there was a problem. I had a very comfortable stay ! the location is also perfect for a stay in dublin. you could walk in the city.. its only 20 min. or you also have a brilliant bus connection. I will definitely recommend this B&B!
Landlords are educated, funny and bubbly. Margaret and Eugene are an enthusiastic couple. We have gone to drink something with them and with flat mates. We have enjoyed about irish music together in a pub. In their house I cooked fabulous soups. Rooms clean. Wash machine and dryer was perfect. Available space in kitchen furniture to keep your food, and fridge also.
Peaceful place close to Botanic Gardens. Supermarkets near and coffee shops. Bus stop to city center with different combinations.
I enjoyed my stay here at Botanic Road. The house was great, the room was fantastic (I had my own bathroom! The mattress on the bed was really good, I want one) the host and other house guests were wonderful. My tourist days consisted of jumping on the bus to City Centre, taking the Dart to a seaside town, then coming home at dusk for a spot of shopping at Clery's or Brown Thomas, followed by a pub visit. So if that is your Dublin plan, then this is the place to stay :)
Both Margaret and Eugene are very friendly and lovely people! They were helpful in guiding me around in the facilities of Dublin/Ireland, both what to see and what to do.
The bus stop is just outside the door, so it is very easy to got into the city center quick. It is also located near the National Botanic gardens, which is the prettiest part of Dublin city, to have the liberty to go down there is worth a lot!
The room is also need and tidy which is nice.
So I can only recommend this room, and be prepared to a very good experience
