Because of my interiors and furniture design work I came to Vietnam the first time 10 years ago and I always kept a wonderful souvenir of my stay in this city. In between and before I moved to Saigon three years ago, I lived in Paris, Brussels and New York, and my previous life makes me staying long in Rio, Dubai or even in Italy.
After working with various workshops around Saigon, after discovering the Vietnamese people, their customs, traditions and history, after understanding things to do and not do, I decided to set my own lacquered furniture workshop in Saigon since two years.
Capital of the former Cochinchina, "The Pearl of Orient" is nowadays the economic capital of Vietnam and experiencing remarkable growth. But its important natural and agricultural resources have not yet scratched the landscape sites and outstanding monuments which each year attract more and more visitors.
However, when I travel I always like to quickly get my bearings in the city to feel comfortable as if I lived there. That's why I bring attention to facilitate the stay of my guests, so they can feel totally at home and consider "La Villa Verte" as their family home in Saigon.
Nevertheless, this town isn't a big tourism spot. It is a city to be lived, kind of a base from which you can travel to the Mekong Delta or to the coastal beaches.
Organized as a show-room and at the same time as a family home, "La Villa Verte" is thought to accommodate visiting friends and offer them the best memory of their stay in the amazing energy of the "Crazy City". A perfect way to make new friends !
