Our experience with our hosts Soon Kyoo and her husband, Han, was extraordinary. Han met us at the train station and escorted us by taxi to their home. Soon Kyoo greeted us with a tea ceremony and treats for our children as it was Children's Day. It just continued to be exceptional our entire stay. We felt like we were staying with family friends. Soon Kyoo made us dinner our first night for a fee and delicious Korean breakfasts were included. Soon Kyoo arranged tickets for a musical/dance program in advance and also secured us a stay at Bulguk-sa temple (even after she had already made reservations at Haien-sa that fell through). Our hosts even allowed us to do our laundry! We were very well taken care of! The studio is simple and has just what you need. We were all very comfortable staying here. The outdoor space associated with the studio is very nice and it was nice to be in a quieter neighborhood after being in Seoul.
대구는 처음이었는데, 깔끔하고 안락한 곳에서 편안하게 머물며 좋은 기억과 함께 돌아왔습니다. 친절한 환대 감사합니다.
Thanks for the review and used my room with care.
The hosts were very welcoming and warm, and quite helpful with transport and logistics. Soonkyoo is an excellent cook and very knowledgeable about Korean culture. The studio is roomy and comfortable, with a kitchen and private entrance. The neighborhood is quiet and restful at night. Highly recommended.
Soonkyoo and her husband made us feel warmly welcome from the second we arrived, and our two-year old felt the same. We had some really nice talks over morningtea, breakfast and evening tea. We felt very lucky staying here and would come back if ever in Daegu again.
I also had wonderful time with you and it was so nice to have the first Danish family in my house. What does " Vaerterne" mean?
Please Say hello to Sally for me.
Our host Soonkyoo gives you a warm feeling, she and her husband are very helpfull! We were in Daegu for a project and they understood perfectly that we had to work and even brought us to the Exco center when we were late. So don't hestitate you are i good hands with them.
Great hospitality! Drove us to the subway station for our daegu international marathon. Prepared special breakfast before our race ! Provided useful infor for our one night stay there ! Overall great experience :)
Sorry I didn't have much time with you since I was very busy that weekend.
Next time come to Gyungjoo marathon race and visit us again.
Soonkyo and her husband were wonderful hosts. What a special bonus it was seeing her smiling face at the train station to help us get back to her home. We had a nice dinner together and enjoyed learning some traditional Korean dance steps. It was a pleasure getting to know Soonkyo and her husband !
Thanks again Sherry and her family. What a nice guests you are. I felt sorry I din't do much for you. Next time when you visit Daegu stay with us as a friends not a guests. Good luck on your furure.
We had a lovely stay here at Soonkyos place. Both the bathroom and the bedroom are very spacious. Soonkyo was very friendly and helpful, she helped us order food when we arrived late at night and allowed us to stay as long as necessary on the day we checked out. Thanks again Soonkyo!
Thank you. Kelli.
I hope to see you again and enjoy talking with you.
