I'm an urban historian from Toronto, who enjoys being in the forest as much as I do among the skyscrapers. I enjoy good food, but especially the act of cooking it and serving it amongst good company.
Kaitlin and Andrew were lovely guests. They were visiting the city during Hurricane Sandy, and we were impressed with their adventurous spirit and general optimistic outlook on being in New York post-storm. Most subways were not running, but they still managed to get around and see the city. They are both very friendly, and we found it easy to get along with them and share our home. Most nights when everyone was home we sat around the table and shared stories from the day and about our respective cities. We would love to have them back anytime.
