Response from Emma:
Johnny, this is your B&B, we didn't ask you to take off of work... That's part of your responsibility to give us a key. We gave you several weeks worth of notice, with a heads up of when our plane arrived and you personally told us to come at that time. We are not trying to be negative with our feedback, we are being honest. The location is great but the flat itself could be a lot cleaner. We are not the only ones with this critique. The other guest was horrified, he said it looked like the flat hadn't been cleaned in 8 weeks, his words exactly. As far as wanting 5 star service, we paid for 2 stars, and we would have been more than happy if your place was 2 stars. As far as advice on local spots that was a brief 3 minutes on "I get breakfast here sometimes." The tourist info you left is a pile of pamphlets on a table by your front door. In fact your 8 minute greeting was on turning off the bathroom fan, faucets, and locking all the doors. Based on your profile and our e-mails prior, we were expecting a more personal experience with a cool guy in a small flat that was in a good area. We had a great time in Dublin, our least favorite part was coming home to your flat.
