We stayed 2 nights at Cynthia's place and it was the perfect choice for our family. With a 2 and 4-year old, the train table, books and other toys kept them content and happy! Though there are tenants upstairs, we never heard a peep. There was plenty of room to move around and having a second 1/2 bathroom was convenient when the little ones were asleep. We would definitely stay there on future visits. Our friends that visited us while at the house were quite impressed as well!
We really enjoyed staying in Cynthia's home. I am very grateful that she was willing to accommodate our family on such short notice. He home is very classic, subtly artsy, and I loved the hardwood floors and high ceilings. My youngest two children really enjoyed the train table, and the toys that were there. My four year old son saw the cute, little toddler bed, and he immediately claimed it as his own! Her home was very clean, quiet, with comfortable beds, and the location is ideal for us because of its close proximity to Stanford University where my daughter attends school. We were able to easily find many nice restaurants nearby, as well. I recommend Cynthia's home to anyone, but especially those with young children. Thank you Cynthia for having us!
Cynthia was thoughtful and great to communicate with. Her house is tucked away, quiet and a little bit quirky which makes it fun.
If you've got a car, you're in a great area to explore San Mateo, Burlingame, etc. and you should, there's a lot of fun dining options in the area.
