Tomas's house was clean and spacious. Tomas was there to welcome me and was able to give spot-on recommendations for restaurants nearby, which were perfect for me. His house is a beautiful Victorian in an area of similar grand homes, close to the Mark Twain House and Museum, which I would highly recommend.
Beautiful home. Great host.
There is only one word to describe my stay at Tomas. Perfection! Everything was superb.
I have never enjoyed myself more, it was like visiting a friend.
I am relocating to Hartford and will be traveling down to search for housing. Hopefully I can stay at Tomas if there’s availability.

My husband and I had a lovely 2 night stay in Tomas's fabulous Victorian home. We stayed in the 3rd floor suite which was much larger than we were anticipating, with a large lounge and bedroom plus a fully equipped kitchen and separate bathroom. We were very comfortable, and Tomas was an excellent host. We were very grateful that he helped us carry our heavy suitcases to the third floor! We would thoroughly recommend Tomas's beautiful home, and (if it is on offer) a glassful of 'Quiver' too!
Tomas' home is a beautiful Victorian in a neighborhood full of them. The room was spacious and comfy and I loved the beautiful woodwork everywhere. Very evocative of another time. I loved staying there and would stay again. Thanks, Tomas.
My experience with Tomas was so exceptional that I feel to compare him and his property with others would be like comparing apples (in this case, golden) to oranges. Staying at his lovely restored 1898 Victorian home was like living in a museum/antique store but with all the homeyness and charm of an English Cottage. He was incredibly communicative and flexible with my check in and check out times, and he kindly carried my heavy suitcases to and from my second floor room for me. Although he works from home, I rarely saw him (when I did, it was a treat), and I had all the privacy and freedom I could ask for. He was equally welcoming to my cat! He lives in a beautiful neighborhood, and I appreciated being able to park my car off the street behind his house. I hope the next time I stay there, the weather will be warmer and I can take advantage of the lovely back yard, front porch, and private porch attached to the bedroom. Tomas is a true gentleman and his property a real gem. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
I was in town for a non-profit board meeting and Tomas was an accommodating host. He has a beautiful old Victorian home. The upstairs is very spacious and private. Tomas was very flexible with me in arranging the check in time to pick up the key. He even offered to pick me up from my meeting location.
I wish I had the opportunity to spend more time to chat with him and to hear his story and learn more about the home. I enjoyed my stay.
Wonderful spot in a great neighborhood. Within walking distance of some great places.
Tomas is a great host, and like many have said, the pictures do not do his place justice. It is absolutely marvelous. Great location close to everything. Highly recommended!
Tomas met me on the porch even though I had been very imprecise about my ETA due to unknown traffic conditions. He welcomed me, showed me my room which was on the 2nd floor and my bathroom which was downstairs on the first floor. You have to descend stairs, walk through living room and kitchen to get to the bathroom but you don't have to share the bathroom with anyone else.
The house is beyond gorgeous. Don't bother with the pictures; they don't begin to do it justice. It's magnificent. Tomas is in process of renovating it and it is breathtaking.
My room was beautiful and comfortable. I did have trouble using the wifi but that may be because of my ancient laptop and limited computer skills.
The weather was fabulous the night I was there and I wanted fresh air. Only one window could be opened, but there is a second (huge, gorgeous) window and a door to a balcony that would have been great to use once they are renovated.
Location is Extremely convenient off of I-84 which is what I was looking for. You drive through some sketchy areas to get there, but the once there, the neighborhood is beautiful, peaceful, lovely. Tomas had no problem accommodating my dog which was a requirement for me. Dog walking was pleasant and safe and enjoyable on the beautiful quiet street..
Tomas is very kind guy and respecful
I recommand tomas at all hosts.
