Hartford based Architectural Historian, loves good friends, conversation, and beer!
Excellent and accommodating host.
I stayed in the 3rd floor suite. It was very comfortable, well equipped, clean and quiet. Tomas was an excellent host. The neighborhood is likewise quiet and clean.
Tomas was a most gracious host. His home is beautiful, accommodations are great, location is great. All in all, a wonderful visit. And don't forget coffee at Tisane right up the road.
Tom is the most desirable owner and his place is impeccably beautiful.
From the original contact till we said good bye, he was super nice and helpful. Despite the bad weather, our business trip was extremely smooth since he came to pick us up at the station and gave us a ride back to the station with his comfortably warmed up car.
Arriving at his home, my client from oversea was so excited by his beautifully decorated Victorian house with traditional Christmas ornaments and lights both inside and out.
Our rooms were very comfortable with clean sheets, antique furniture, and wifi for our business.
We went to the following burger and beer place nearby which was an additional motivation to visit there again: (website hidden)
Less than two blocks was the distance to our counterpart, Chris Henderson, the leader of a rising indie rock group Bronze Radio Return: (website hidden)
Great combination of gentle human touch and traditional architecture. You will feel the history and feel cozy.
Thank you Tom and hope to see you soon!
This is a lovely and spacious home and Tomas is a wonderful host. You have the complete upper floor of the house to yourself. Since Tomas is an architecture historian, his home is loved and decorated with attention to detail... it is a great space. I definitely recommend staying here! Thanks Tomas!
What a beautiful Victorian home! Tom was quick to communicate and very responsive to our needs. When we arrived, he greeted us in person and showed us to pur lovely suite; where there were drinks and snacks waiting for us. Everything was clean and comfortable. In the morning, he graciously showed us around his beautiful, antique-filled home, and then directed us to a marvelous brunch at a nearby restaurant, Tisane (brunch starts at 10AM on Sunday; don't miss the Texas Red Eye!). This host is highly recommended. Thanks again, Tom!
