I work in beautiful Edinburgh where I manage a team of photographers, surveyors and architectural historians who record buildings and find out all sort of interesting bits and bobs about Scotland's built heritage. (website hidden)
I enjoy running and keeping fit at the gym. I take pride in the vegetarian and vegan food that I make; I'm enjoying the creativity that the latter brings more and more. My new favourite thing is Stand Up Paddling which I mostly do up in the lochs and rivers of Perthshire. I keep a keen eye on how my football team Aberdeen FC are doing although I don't get to see them too much now nowadays.
In my spare time I sing in a choir called Sing in the City and do a few other smaller musical projects. A lot of the music I listen to involves harmony so Simon & Garfunkel, Abba, Cat Stevens, Fleet Foxes, Midlake, Yeasayer, MGMT and First Aid Kit take their turns on the CD Player when Joanna Newsom's 'Have One on Me' hasn't beaten them to it.
I enjoy 20th century design, lo-fi graphics and have an interest in art (I studied History of Art many moons ago). You can see the visuals I like and the trips that I do on my flickr account neilpeach
I love travelling and my holidays usually involve seeing as much of a country as I can within the realms of having a relaxing break. Rural Bulgaria, the Baltic States, China and visiting my best friend in Melbourne rank as recent favourite holidays. My road trip to California in October 2013 was just brilliant.
I love dogs but I like cats too! I hope that gives you an idea of me!
