Married, mom of 4 boys, travel with my husband in a VW van
Staying with Cara and her family was pretty sweet. To be honest I wish I stayed longer! They were very accommodating and ready to answer any questions! Their place is cozy and I enjoyed my stay there! Totally recommend it!
We loved our stay here with Cara and Ken. The location is great if you want to explore the island and the rate for a place like this is a steal. Cara and her family were very friendly. They let us used there snorkel and beach gears, which was very nice of them because it saved us some money on our trip. Love staying here and would stay again! Thank you again Cara and Ken!
The reservation was canceled 27 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Cara and Ken both had been awesome during our stay at their house. Cara is a very nice host and we enjoyed our stay there. Very nice and clean place! If we have another chance to come visit Hawaii we would definitely stay here again.
My first visit was so lovely that I had to return. Knowing that Cara loved to cook, we corresponded in advance of my visit, and had a great dinner together. I brought some fruit and Teryaki Shake'n'Bake, Cara did her magic with the rest. The same accolades I made in my earlier review are warranted.
Cara and Ken had other airbnb guests arriving on an 11 PM flight from Edmonton via Seattle. I was fast asleep when they arrived, though I think I heard the car pull into the driveway. After all the window shutters were open, it was such a lovely night. But everyone settled down quietly, and it wasn't until breakfast the next morning that I met the new arrivals.
Me and my wife enjoyed staying at Caras house. Cara and Ken were very nice and very accomadating and very friendly. They have a very beautifull house and a great location.
We had a great time at Cara's place! The room is large and pleasant! Cara was very helpful, she lent us her snorkling gear for the rest of your stay! So kind from her! Don't hesitate is a good place to stay!
Best Long Island Ice Teas ever by Ken. We had a great time staying with Cara and Ken. Clean place and homely. They were kind and provided us with snorkeling gear, beach mat, etc. Great conversations in the evenings. Not far from shops and happy hour bar. All in all, we had an amazing time. Many thanks and sorry for arriving in the middle of the night.
My husband and I really enjoyed our vacation in Hawaii and Cara and Ken were great hosts! They provided space in the refrigerator and a cupboard for our use, and Cara set up the coffee pot every evening so my husband could start the brew for fresh coffee the next morning. They have beach towels, chairs, a cooler, umbrellas, and more to borrow. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We also enjoyed visiting with their son, Spencer--he helped me change the keyboard configuration on my iPad! Thanks Cara, Ken and Spencer for your hospitality!
Mililani has been named an All-America City. Cara and Ken's place deserves a similarly special accolade. The home is a neat bungalow near a private part of Mililani Town at the southwest end, and is centered about a kitchen. That's the first sign you can't go wrong coming here. When I arrived, Cara was whipping up a family dinner, and I learned guests could join in with advance arrangements. The home was clean, the bed comfortable and just right for falling asleep and dreaming of nice things to come. That after a great evening chatting with Cara, Ken, and their other guests. If you're staying longer, Cara and Ken have beach accessories that you may use when you go down to one of the many beaches away from the hustle of Waikiki. Cara even knew somehow that I kike guava nectar. I must come back for another visit.
Ken and Cara are great friends. So sweet and hospitable. We stayed here for 2 months and it was great. Convenient location, spacious, bright, and a nice breeze. Very nice people, very nice home.
I have known Cara and Ken for more than 10 years and they are some of the finest people I know and I give them my highest recommendation!
