Steve and I (Lee Ann) live in New York City. I am from Texas, he is a native Manhattanite. I am a singer and play ukulele much of the time, and work with the Weill Music Institute to bring music to underserved communities in New York City. When I am not doing that, I work for a property management company. Steve is an audio engineer for the Charlie Rose show on PBS, and also at a few live music venues around the city.
I speak fairly fluent Italian, Steve speaks very fluent French. Our Spanish is not so great, but we hope to be able to have some nice conversations in Andalucia anyway. :)
We love to travel, try new foods, see new sights, and meet new people. As souvenirs, we like to take home a little something to eat and a bottle of wine. Experiences are so much more valuable to us than objects...except for the hundreds of photos.
We are clean, quiet, very respectful and take good care of any place we stay. We enjoy renting apartments when we travel, instead of hotel rooms. It's a much more authentic experience, that feels more connected to local culture. We have rented a lot from (website hidden) in the past, and are relatively new to (website hidden). If you would like, we can furnish personal references.
