Love designing and antiques.
Lina's home is just as described in the listing and the photos are an accurate representation. It was clean, spacious, and easy to get to. The neighborhood was safe and had a lot of nearby shops, restaurants, etc., as well as a few larger shopping centers just a mile or two away on the river front. As there are five in our family and we drove in, we found it easier and fairly economical to drive into Manhattan and park at Port Authority, which was an easy drive (literally only one block on the Manhattan side to the PA parking garage, and the Lincoln Tunnel was a breeze). Parking in the neighborhood was a bit tricky and we did have to walk a block or two most days, but nothing too bad, especially for free parking. The home had all the necessities, including an admirably stocked cook's kitchen, and Lina and her husband provided eggs, water, juice, and a few other things so that we had a bit to munch on before we ventured out, as well as an array of spices and basic cooking elements had we made time to cook. I would not hesitate to recommend the place to friends, and Lina and her husband were both easy to connect with and willing to accommodate us. (Lina sent bus schedules, her husband met us for an early check-in, and Lina worked with me to arrange the whole stay last-minute.) A completely positive experience - Thank you!
Response from Lina:
Tim, thanks! I had the same positive experience with you.
We went to Lina s place and it was really nice ,clean and beautiful. I highly recommend this place. It is exactly the same as the picture . The host Lina was really nice with us .
We stayed 5 nights and it was very nice and comfortable. Appartment is situated near grocery stores and bakery. It is very clean and spacious. Near the building there is a bus stop to NY.Lina and her husband are very friendly. I would come again here. I would highly recommend this appartment.
Place is huge, clean, plenty of clean towels, fully equiped -just like the photos- and the owner went way out of his way to help with transportation to The City.
This beautiful, spacious apartment is a comfortable stay in an ideal location - within half hour's drive from Midtown and close by the grocery store. We appreciated that it was kid-friendly - the drawing board in the room kept my niece busy for a while. Would stay here again! Lina was very responsive and flexible. I would only warn that though street parking is easily available, be sure to read ALL signs carefully and to walk up and down the street ON THE SAME side of the street where parked until you see a sign about when you cannot park there. Parking enforcement is very strict!
We stayed there for 3 nights and the place was great. I had a toddler with me and he enjoyed playing with some of their toys, and I loved cooking in their high end, stocked kitchen. The owners were flexible with check in and check out time which was a huge help for me. 10 minute drive to the GW Bridge or Lincoln Tunnel and convenient to the city.
The apt was excellent and we didnt have any problems. The location was close to the 156 and 159 bus stops and we were able to get to the city quite well We stayed with a kid and they did not mind us using a couple of their toys. They also provided the basic cooking ingredients like flour and oil. We would highly suggest them.
Lina likes company and I hope she gets the position she seeks.
