THE HOST DOES NOT LIVE IN THE PLACE
There is and old man, some sort of keeper of the place, that occupies one of the rooms, but he is not there always, and can't do much if there is a problem.
Although we scheduled it by email and I arrived on time, I had to wait more than two hours for the old man to get to the place and let me into the building. Elisa did not show up until the second day, and I saw her again one more time only.
NOT A HOME
There are eight bedrooms, but no living room, dining room, TV, bookshelves etc. This is a kind of hostal and here is the name of a company:
There is a rule about that. The guest is provided a roll of toilet paper. The guest takes his roll to the toilet, use it, and them bring it back. No toilet paper in the toilet. I was not told, and I it was very embarrassing to find it just when it was needed.
The largest one was 80cm in its longer side.
Needed two to dry after shower.
The hall and corridors are in COMPLETE DARKNESS all day and night.

TOILET TIMED LIGHT
Even in the toilet there is a problem with that. Please see this video

VERY LOW LIGHT LEVEL IN THE BEDROOM
Please see this video, where I measure the light level (measured in Lux) with an iPhone app.
The light bulb used is 11W compact fluorescent, which is much less than enough for a room, and the reason for the extremely low level of light.

The second day, when she showed up, I complained to her about the low light level. She told me I had to open the curtains wider. I explained her that I meant it was too dark in the night, not during the day. I asked her to change the light bulb. She told me she would not. I told her it was so dark that it was impossible to read. Then she brought a small reading lamp for the bed and said "now you can read".
The following day I complained once more, but this time to the old man, but he said that he could do nothing, only Elisa.
KITCHEN TOP COVERED WITH OLD NEWSPAPER
The kitchen top is covered with old newspapers, to avoid scratches.
The dishes, silverware and pans are left on that, and not inside the cabinets.

VERY UNFRIENDLY PLACE
See the pictures and read the signs. They are in Spanish, but are very easy to translate.
Bon accueil et chambre agréable :)
Location, location, location!!! You cannot beat the location.
Apart from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (Real Madrid FC), I don't need to take metro or any other public transport anywhere (this means convenience and also budget saving.) I walked to anywhere I wanted through (website hidden) Maps (eating, shopping, Puerta del Sol, National Palace, The Cathedral, Mercado San Miguel, The Opera, The Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, partying at Chueca, Santo Domingo etc etc). Everywhere is so in walking distance.
Elisa is very kind and loving person, she kissed me on the cheek whenever we met as if I was her baby son LOL and Said is very helpful, he helped me print my ticket to Barcelona.
But I agree with everyone, if there's a bit of the downside is the house is so dark in the common area even during the day, it's a bit creepy. But the location is super. Carredera Baja de San Pablo is a great street! So lively and just 3 minutes away from Gran Via. Very recommended!
Extremely friendly and hospitable owner. Rooms are clean and the location is perfect. No complains and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
Room was clean and quiet, which is what I am most concerned about with hotels and other lodging, and exactly as described by host. The host was able to accommodate my late flight arrival. I would stay here again and can recommend this host.
Response from Elisa:
Fantastica persona, super recomendable.
The location is great! Very fun and you can get anywhere from there. The room was great and so where the other members living there.
I didn't really appreciate the tone of the assistant. It was very condescending, specially when I wanted questions answered.
It wasn't too bad over all, but I don't think I would be coming back to this place.
It s almost imposible to recomend this place; the rooms are extremly small, the bed was desaster and the mattress probably older than me . it s a dark and a bit claustophic place.
the neighbourhood is very nice and beautifull and the check in and mail contact easy going and quick.
The place is a good price and the location is fantastic for shopping and bars - a really cool part of an awesome city. The accommodation is quite basic, like a little hotel, not like other airbnb places where you stay with a local family. But it was fine, quiet and clean and a toilet in the room which is convenient. The guy (not Elisa, who I didn't meet) showed me how to lock the doors and turn on the hot water and whatnot. For the price, no problems!!!
Very good located in the city, both if you are planning to visit Madrid just walking around or if you need to use the metro, too.
Elisa was great, because I asked for the room just one night before and she answered me immediatly. Actually, I didn't like very much the darkness of the place, however for a few days it is perfect.
