My daughter and I stayed at Theresa's Union Square Studio, and were completely pleased and happy with our accomodations. The studio is everything that was expected, and completely as described in the description area. This was a home away from home for the week, and was very comfortable for us to be able to get a restful quiet sleep after a long day out and about in the city. The apartment is facing the back of the building so it is quieter than most I believe. I would recommend for friends and family to stay here if they are visiting the city. Thank you Theresa for sharing your great convenient location with us.
Great place to stay good location and the studio is just like the pictures. Dint see thersa but the instructions were the keys were not a problem recomnd the place.
The apartment was large by Manhattan standards. Ideal location for getting around the city easily. Would gladly stay there again.
Perfect location for NYC. The appartement is very close to Union Square where you can start your day if you want to use the Metro. We prefere to walk first 2 blocks to Gramercy Bagel where u will find the best bagels in NYC and then start the day.
The appartement is as described in the pictures. Theres no kitchen only a microwave where you can heat up someting you purchased at Whole Foods Market which is also very close to Union Square.
In the night it was very silent because the appartement is in direction to the backyard.
For us it was a perfect location because we have been outside to NYC the whole day :-)
We would refere it to our friends.
The apartment is located on a nice quiet, safe street minutes from the subway which connected us easily to where we wanted to go every day however when we arrived Theresa left us waiting nearly two hours at the apartment after I phoned her to let her know we were outside(I had confirmed the time of arrival a week in advance) this was really inconvenient as we had large suitcases and couldnt leave them at the apartment so had to sit in a nearby restaurant and wait. The apartment is clean and is as described however the bed is the worst I have every stayed in-it dips in the middle and makes for a very difficult nights sleep. The apartment is also quite cold as there are high ceilings. There is a heating system but its noisy when left on at night. The other residents are very noisy and woke us up every morning when they were leaving the apartment block between 7-8am. The stay was just fine however I would not return
Location was fantastic here, we found Theresa's apartment easily from the subway late at night - and slept soundly in such a quiet street for somewhere so central. Wholefoods just a 5 min walk away was also a great plus for us. Any queries, ie late checkout on our last day were answered immediately - and as there was a gap day before the next visitors we did check out early afternoon which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay at Theresa's again.
(+++): Location: Very good located near the awesome union square and the subway station have very good conections lines and thousand shops, restaurants and markets.
(++): Apartment: The studio is in the second floor in a three floor building without lift. The place is like the pictures shows, very clean and well decorated. It's fully equiped and have all the things that a traveller could need. (good shower, microwave, kettle, wifi, tv, heater).
The queen size bed is not too much confortable because the mattress is lightly deformed.
(-): Check-in: When we arrived from the airport (higly recommended use the airtrain and subway) we were waiting in the door of the building 1 hour aprox. but after we email to theresa we were able to get the apartment. I think was an misunderstanding and Theresa gave us apologies about it.
(+++): Check-out: Theresa let us a late check out and it was fantastic because we had a late flight.
The experience in this apartment was nice and we recommend it to enjoy NY.
