My wife and I have been married since 2011. We have lived as expats for a year in Australia but now live back in Canada. So far we're both childless. I was born in Alberta but have lived in Ontario/Quebec most of the time since leaving University. During University and immediately after I traveled extensively with the student group AIESEC. She is from Newfoundland where she did medical school. We met when she was doing her surgical residency in Ottawa. She is now a practicing in London, Ontario. I work freelance in Finance. We are keen to see new countries every year and hope to do one trip every year outside of North America for at least a fortnight. We like a mixture of sight-seeings, culture (museums, art galleries, threatre), and local cuisine as well as some challenging hikes while traveling. We can either rough it and back pack/canoe in the wilderness or stick to cities. Generally we stick to one form of travel on each trip. We are tired of staying at hotels from the many conferences and our frequent "Hotwire" weekend stays in Toronto and NYC.
