I'm a car-free, bicycle riding, amateur chef, oenophile, outdoorsman, sustainable architect and founder of moss design in Chicago. While traveling I prefer to stay in quaint and/or gritty neighborhoods outside the city center rather than in the tourist amusement park. I think you get a more authentic feel for a place when you are living amongst the locals, you know, while in Rome and all that. Except, I guess, for the rampant hegemony. I like The New York Times, books, wood working, and hydrology. I do not like golf or flaxseed.
