We are planing to rent our cozy studio.
I work in SF a lot and usually stay with co-workers. Sometimes, however, I need my own space. Amitsa and her husband were amazing hosts. Present and available if needed, but let me have the solitude I was looking for.
The apartment was so much like my own, that I also rent on AirBnb, I immediately felt like I was at home. While it is on the first floor, there is a lot of light via a glass brick wall and windows. I tend to worry about being warm enough at night, but they had provided wonderful linens and blankets.
There is a spacious, empty closet (such a treat with AirBnB) to hang my work clothes as well as a full kitchenette with a table for two. There is also a cute couch to read or work on.
I loved the location of this apartment, as it is very close to the Mission, public transportation, markets and restaurant. And the street was so lovely. This space has caused me to reconsider staying with co-workers ever again! I just hope it is available.
I had a terrific experience staying at 42 Clipper Street. Great location easy walk to the "J" line that takes you into town and less than 3 blocks to restaurants. The apartment has all the amenities one could want and I really appreciated the access to a washer/dryer. The host was very friendly and I will definitely recommend this location to anyone from a young couple to my mother.
Amitsa and Jean-Luc were wonderful hosts! Amitsa was great at communicating throughout our stay and Jean-Luc was super helpful with suggestions for exploring the city. The studio was nice a spacious, and quite beautiful. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. It's nice and quiet, but in close proximity to other areas. We would love to come back soon! Thanks guys!
This is a terrific place to stay. I stayed at this location for three weeks. Amitsa and Jean Luc were great hosts -- available to answer questions and provide any assistance but not at all intrusive. The place is a perfect fit for one or two people. There is a kitchen (complete with dishwasher), wifi, a tv with Roku, and even a laundry machine/dryer. It is conveniently located, both to Noe Valley and the Mission and to public transportation. I highly recommend staying here.
Awesome studio in a great location! Jean Luc went the extra mile and made us feel extra welcome. Chocolates, coffee, and a super comfy bed. This studio was perfect for our visit to family nearby. Would definitely recommend.
Amitsa and her husband were gracious hosts who took the time to say hello and answer any and all questions. The studio is very clean, well equipped, and just as it looks in the photos. The street is quiet and there is ample parking if you have a car. The location is fantastic and close to 24th street with enough shops, restaurants, and cafes to cater to a variety of needs. Had a wonderful stay, thank you!!
I very much enjoyed my stay at this apartment - it was clean and just as cozy as promised, and Amitsa was helpful, prompt and easy to reach. We were pleasantly surprised to find a washer-dryer, full-sized fridge and well-equipped kitchen, and found the location (though hilly!) an easy walk to the Mission and a tram-ride away from other neighborhoods. I would definitely recommend a stay here and would be happy to return myself.
