We had a incredible relaxing time in Patick's house. It is very spacious, clean and furnished with love to detail in an Andalusian-style. Everything was arranged perfectly and very comfortable.
We are definitely looking forward to coming back as soon as we can.
El pueblo de Gaucin es tranquilo y situado en una zona muy bonita. La casa, aunque es un poco vieja, está bién y equipada con todo lo necesario.
This house is amazing for an amazing price. a real old spanish house in the hill village of Gaucin. It was a pleasure staying there.
Patrick is a great host and very helpful. He knows the area as a former tour guide very well. We loved our stay in his little house in Gaucin. It's a good location for beautiful hikes. Local swimming pool is 5 min away, two supermarkets and market hall are in walking distance.
Patrick is the agent for our host Josephina.
While Patrick was extremely helpful in arranging the booking, particularly when there was a slight glitch with the original price, it was Josephina who truly made our stay wonderful. She greeted us warmly, showed us around the apartment, asked if we needed anything, and then left us to enjoy our holiday. Perfect!
The apartment was if anything more beautiful than described, prettier even than the photos. It is perched on a tranquil street with views all the way to Gibraltar, ideally situated for travel to Ronda, Cadiz, Gibraltar and Tarifa (i.e. Morocco). The apartment was well stocked with every need, including printed information for finding anything in the idyllic village, of Gaucin and the surrounding area. Our pool was completely private at all times,
We ate out sometime, cooked our own food at other times (basic cooking supplies were at hand). We parked out rental car just outside the entrance gate tucked under a huge spray of hanging flowers.
We have had several other experiences with AirBnB, both as renters and rentees, so we know a class act when we come across it. And this spot is one class act. Thanks so much, Patrick and Josephina!
