friendly, fun. love the ocean, food, good wine, a cold brew, my dogs and of course my folk singing, surfing husband.

Couldn't imagine a better place to get away and relax. The attention to detail was impressive. This was my first Airbnb experience. The standard is now set very high after staying at mandog manor.
My husband and I were thrilled with the accommodations at Mandog Manor. The small space is skillfully arranged to provide ample area for sleeping, lounging (comfy chair next to window with ocean views), food prepping/storing (there is a mini-fridge, sink, coffee/tea maker, microwave), and bathroom-ing. The hot tube was perfect for warming up after a long walk on the nearby (2 minute walk) sunny, though unfortunately windy, beach. The location of the guest house is ideal in that it provides some seclusion from the more crowded areas of the Oregon Coast, yet it is close enough that we could take a short drive to Cannon Beach, Seaside, or the Oregon State Parks (Arcadia, Hug Point, etc.). The ability to have our dogs join us on this weekend adventure was what sealed the deal on having Mandog Manor as our accommodations. Tennis ball fetch on the beach is their new favorite activity.
The Mandog Manor was, in a word, great!!! The attention to detail, the furnishings, everything was so nice. Anyone looking for a great place to relax and get away, look no further.
What a wonderful little studio cottage!
My fiance and I needed a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and this was just the ticket. Kimberly was a great host, and was attentive to any questions we had.
Incredibly quiet, adorable little set up, and the beach is just a block away. AMAZING HOT TUB with a beautiful view during your soaking time.
Even with some pretty remarkable storms, we were safe and sound, snuggled up and warm. And when the storms passed, we were able to hop in the car to scoot up to Cannon Beach and Seaside in less than 30 minutes.
This was a wonderful little place, and we plan on returning! Thank you Kimberly!
This is a wonderfully adorable space to stay in a quiet, quaint town (village?) on the Oregon Coast. Kimberly has done an absolutely wonderful job thinking of all the things that make this a relaxing, refreshing get-away destination. The room is bright (even on a grey, rainy Oregon Coast day) and the beach is a very short walk from the studio. Arch Cape is a very quiet town without the flock of tourists one would see in Cannon Beach or Seaside, but both tourist towns are just a short drive away. Really: the best of both worlds!
What a wonderful location this is. Less than 3 minute walk to the beach. Such a great little set up for a weekend on the coast.
I surprised my husband with a great weekend spent at Mandog Guest House, to celebrate his 50th birthday. The place was quaint and very lovely. Everything for your stay is well thought out by Kimberly...from extra towels to small snacks in the room to warm coffee to enjoy. The view was great as you could see the ocean from the big, beautiful windows. The beautiful vaulted ceilings make the space feel larger but still very cozy. The bed was very cozy and comfy. Small attention to details made for a beautiful décor. The two minute walk to the beach was ideal and we enjoyed long walks on the beach, despite the weather not being the very best, but we didn't mind. Loved the quiet and seclusion of the area. Would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property.
A lot of consideration was made to make this a wonderful place to stay.
It was immaculate, cozy, and comfortable. We only wish we had more time to stay.
We hope to return!
This place is absolutely adorable! Very well thought out. Has everything you need and more. Kruig coffee maker, direct tv, hot tub towels, cheese and crackers waiting for us in the mini fridge. Very close walk to the beach. 15 min drive to manzanita for dinner, cafés, groceries. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!
Mandog Manor Rocks!
This place has EVERYTHING! The coziest comfortable place and the bed is to die for. This place felt like it was our own little apartment above the garage. All the little touches were very special. Cheese, crackers and fruit were waiting for us in the small fridge as was Newman’s coffee to drop in the Keurig coffee maker, or reach into the cabinet to find a french press. It has a little kitchen sink just enough space to make a small meal. Along side the bed is the most comfortable chair, I wanted to take it home with me. There is lots of light from 4 windows and one in the bathroom. The ceiling is vaulted which makes it more interesting. We could see the ocean from the front window and from the bathroom. The beach is right at the end of the road (3 houses down).
If you want a place that is cozy, comfortable, cute, clean and quiet and away from everything else this is your spot.
We met the owners (Kimberly and Richard) on out way out, great people.
