Cozy spot in a great location. Communication was great and our studio was spotless and welcoming.
This was a beautiful, cozy, homey and private space in a great location. It was just a few minutes' walk to a lovely, quiet beach, and a close drive to two of our favorite places on the coast: Oswald West and Ecola State Parks, as well as to two towns with great restaurants: Manzanita and Cannon Beach. The hot tub under the bright stars was another highlight.
Kimberly's place was beautiful and it provided a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The beach is spectacular and is just a short walk away. We never got the chance to meet Kimberly in person but she was nice and communicative through email and we knew we could contact her if we needed anything.
Arch Cape is one of our favorite beach destinations. The Mandog Manor guest room was very comfortable and cozy on this stormy weekend. The cheese, crackers and apple where a welcoming touch when we arrived. We put on our rain gear and walked the beach three times. I like to collect driftwood and look at wildlife. After our walks my wife and I would go back to the room and relax and warm up. My wife and I enjoyed our time and the room was well appointed.
I enjoyed reading about the history of Cannon Beach and Arch Cape. I thought it hilarious that some businessmen tried shinning a light on Haystack Rock to attract tourist. It disoriented the birds and they flew over the town leaving messes everywhere. The light was turned off.
Great location between cannon Beach & Manzanita. Perfect place to relax and recharge. The bed was super cozy. The reading chair with a view of the ocean was a nice touch.
The hosts were great. Made us feel very welcome but that we had our space
We loved our stay at the Mandog Manor! It is a cute, restful studio right next to a very private beach--this place is a gem. The bed is probably one of the best mattresses we have ever slept on and the hot tub is superb, you even have a peekaboo view of the ocean from there. We spent hours on the beach and only saw a handful of people despite the lovely weather (meanwhile Canon Beach was so packed that it was nigh impossible to find parking!) We would definitely recommend this for a romantic weekend getaway and will very likely be returning ourselves.
Staying at Mandog Manor was such a treat. Amazing ocean views from both ends of the studio. The hot tub was already warmed up for us so we didn't have to wait in the cold. We were able to catch a sunny January day and take advantage of the proximity to the beach. I can't even imagine how amazing it would be on a hot summer day. Very considerate hosts leave complimentary coffee and oatmeal so you can maximize your laziness factor in the comfortable bed.
There is simply no way to elaborate on the other reviews other than to say that it was every bit as wonderful for us as for any of the other rave reviews!
We had the perfect coastal retreat at Mandog Manor! The cozy cottage exceeded our expectations and we plan to come back. Our hosts were kind and stocked the place with all sorts of necessities and a few extra perks! We loved having access to the hot tub and cable tv for restful nights in after a day of hiking. This is a great location between Manzanita and Cannon Beach! Will definitely rent again. The cottage is peaceful with a charming touch of comfort and luxury. One of my favorite coastal retreats in nearly 6 years of visiting the coast.
