I love traveling (obviously why we are all here); I went to Italy all by lonesome not too long ago - love love Mexico and I can't live without my fix of heading to a yearly tropical destination. But this year I would like to start visiting all parts of the US that I have never seen and hopefully enjoy all of it while feeling like a local, rather than a tourist in a hotel...and that's what really brought me to Airbnb.
It kinda all started after I randomly purchased this book out of the dollar bin - In the Country of Country / A journey to the Roots of American Music. I read it in two days flat and suddenly started thinking about all the places in the US that I had never seen or been to that had such a direct impact and correlation to a lot of the music that I grew up listening to or now began to really appreciate - EmmyLou, Cash, Townes Van Zandt and John Prine just to name a few.
So of course...Nashville, Memphis and a slew of other places are on my radar, known as my "Places in Music" list. Being an interior designer, I also have a list of amazing architectural homes that I would love to stay in for a few days. But probably my most important list, "Professional Sun Bathing" includes a wide variety of places along the California Deserts where I can just live in my bikini for the weekend and "fry," with the occasional cocktail in hand. ;)
Ultimately, what you need to know is that in my own home, I will proudly tell you I am the hostess with the mostest...and my guests are always courteous and gracious. You can expect that same respect from me in your home as a guest, if I can hope to receive the same from you.
Happy booking...and traveling!
