I'm an extroverted, piano-playing Leo with awesome hair. I'm very playful, but have a lot of soul, too. I love travel, and, along with my wife, Sarah, am in the midst of a year's worth of travel and discernment as to where our passions, dreams and gifts truly lie.

I love music; Sara Bareilles and Jason Plumb are my two favorite vocalists/songwriters, I love the acoustic folk-stylings of artists like Sarah Harmer and Glen Phillips, and I dig dancing, too! I have some sweet moves. All 2 of them.

The Departed is brilliant, Transformers 3 is 3 hours of my life I'll never get back.

My favorite books are "I Know This Much Is True" by Wally Lamb, The Lord of the Rings, and Stephen King's Dark Tower series.

I'm comfortable in a hostel, a hotel or a hot-tub...sometimes the sketchiest accommodations make for the best stories. I do appreciate a comfortable bed, however, and I've recently realized that I no longer love tenting. I mean, in a pinch...

My wife and I sold our house in February in order to free us up for (and to finance) this trip; we don't have a place in which to host travelers, but understand what it means to own and care deeply for property - as guests we are respectful, value quiet and the privacy of our hosts...but also LOVE engaging in conversation, song, story-telling and humorous hijinx when the opportunity presents itself. In short, we're awesome and beautiful people. We're looking forward to meeting you!

I deeply believe: the single-most powerful way that we can affect positive change in the people and the world around us is through self-acceptance.
