The flat was very big and nice, quite close to the subway and the coach station. It's 20 minutes to go to the center of Izmir by metro. The district was very lively with a lot of restaurants and shops. Serdaar was helpful and he gave us a lot of information about the sites to visit and the things to do in Izmir. Good experience.
Serdar was available at any time to speak when we had questions. The place was roomy for three people and all amenities worked well! Thank you Serdar for all of your help!
The Appartement was ok, as it was for a very cheap rent and the actual Flat was changed a week before we arrived . We just stayed one night anyway, so the Appartement was ok for us.
Serdar made me feel immensely welcomed in his home. He was courteous and obliging, and maintained good communication with me before my trip. The apartment was large, clean and as described. Highly recommended Airbnber!
Serdar was so helpful and friendly. His apartment was very clean and spacious. The wifi was great and the location was good too. Plenty of Resturants and shops within walking distance. Serdar made us feel at home and even took us out in town on our last night. Definitely recommend!
Serdar was very helpful in helping provide us accomodations on short notice. He greeted us with a big smile, despite the minor confusion about the location and my inability to phone or message him directly without an Internet connection. The apartment itself was large, clean and well-equipped. The area of Izmir in which the flat is located is safe and not too far from the airport which was perfect for us (~25 min by car). While wandering around the neighbourhood, we discovered numerous small mom & pop shops for Turkish eats and wares; despite our lack of the Turkish language and the locals' lack of English, we managed to locate the closest open metro station (Göztepe) as the actual closest one (Poligon) wasn't yet open. Our stay was comfortable and worry-free nonetheless thanks to Serdar!
Like others who have had the opportunity to stay at Serdar apartment, I can recommend it to others. It is spacious, well-equipped and there is a beautiful view of the sea. The only problem that we had was getting there. Unfortunately, Turkey is not the Turkey that I discovered 27 years ago and taxi drivers like taking customers for a ride (a little tour around the city and charging three times the fare or even more). Sardar advised us to take a taxi, informing that the bus stop was about a 10 minute- walk from his apartment. The advice is a good one, provided that you are Turkish. Although we provided the taxi driver with very good indications of Sardar’s address, as well as a very clear map, he drove us very far away, stopping no less than four times to asking for directions, in spite of our map and the fact that his car was equipped with a GPS. The tactic was obvious: keep the meter running for as long as possible. When I made it clear that I knew what he was up to, he left us at the very bottom of a very steep slope (Sardar’s apartment is up a very steep slope). With some 45 kgs of luggage, we had to go up 300 to 400 metres, and then up five floors to Sardar’s apartment. Needless to say, it was very annoying and exhausting and could have been avoided by taking the bus. In fact, the bus stop is not 10 minutes away from the apartment, but rather just outside: when you look outside one of the back windows of Sardar’s apartment, it is just opposite and is a 30-second walk, at most. So getting to Sardar’s apartment by public transport is not only very convenient, but also extremely cheap, when compared to a taxi fare!
Serdar is a really friendly and helpful guy. We had a nice time with him and his friends, eating and got out for a drink together. We only spend to nights there and enjoyed it.
Serdar was a great host, everything was uncomplicated and his appartment is lovely. The view is stunning and worth staying at this place. Moreover it is very spacios and clean. The neighborhood is calm and it even lets you sleep in.
