Rootin and tootin. I've lived in Austin for 13 years. I'm studying to be a midwife. I love good food, being outside and chill little spots.
Really great place. Unique, cozy, and comfortable! Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Madge!
so nice i had to stay twice!
Maggie's tree house is straight up awesome. It's very "airBnb" if you will.
1-- Close to DT Austin, take the 17 bus just a couple blocks away.
2-Clean, not dusty and the kitchen and bathroom are very well kept.
3-Maggie -- awesome flexible, and a great communicator.
Great value for what you get.
Lovely place, thoughtful host, great location. Thank you!
We had a fantastic time staying at Maggie's. Her place was very clean and super cute! It is a great location too for the downtown area. It was really nice that she had a map of things to do labeled on on the fridge. We tried Mr. Natural's, Rio's Brazil Cafe, Cenote and other spots in the area. It was all wonderful.
We really enjoyed our short stay at Madge's treehouse. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The well-chosen assortment of beer in the fridge was a plus. The location is super convenient to 35 and downtown and booking with Madge was a breeze. Thumbs up!
Madge was friendly and easy to deal with and her place was really homey and warm.
madge was amazing! Her place has a wonderful vibe in a great part of the city. Thanks for such an awesome time in austin!
Maggie's treehouse was our first airbnb ever, and we were getting out of the way of a hurricane, and whoa: it was great! Her house is beautiful, so comfortable and relaxing, a great place to unwind. Really great quiet neighborhood to have as a home base for East Austin, and super convenient to a cheap place to rent bikes and a beautiful running path.
Also: Maggie is a totally awesome and gracious hostess, with all kinds of maps and a little recommended places list, and was super welcoming for us and our 3 big dogs. She left a wonderful selection of tasty stuff (and beer!) and free good coffee and all kinds of creamer- I recommend her place as high as recommendations go. 11! ha.
This is a cozy and private place to stay. Great if you are looking for a home rather than a hotel. Private off-street parking space and free coffee are great. And the bed is very comfortable. Didn't use the porch as much as expected because of two wasp nests. Very spirited dogs in the neighborhood, which may or may not be your thing. Residential neighborhood, but you will need transportation to get to the heart of downtown on the other side of 35. Check-in/check-out could not be simpler. If you're into bongos, you're in luck. If you're not into bongos, you will have trouble avoiding them.
I didn't get to meet Madge, but she was a very considerate and easygoing guest. She's welcome back any time!
Maggie is a warm, caring person filled with laughter and fun. She is reliable, organized and also creative. Just an all-around wonderful combination of a person!
