We had a great time in Paris and a massive part of that was thanks to Nora and her wonderful apartment. Although just outside the city centre, we found it a really convenient place to be based. You can be in central Paris in around half an hour or less, and there are plenty of groceries and bakeries in the immediate vicinity to make cooking at home a great option to cut down on some potentially pricey eating out in restaurants. Some of the places to eat in the city centre are really expensive and really poor quality. The location in the flea market area was fun and we had a good time looking around some of the boutiques (10,000 Euro Louis Vuitton luggage anyone?!), it was a nice area to spend time when we didn't feel like doing the tourist trail in the city centre.
The apartment itself was bright, very clean and had all the facilities you would expect. My only gripe would be that the street outside could be very noisy at night if you had the windows open, but we only needed them open once on a particularly hot and muggy night, the rest of the time the apartment was quite cool throughout the day.
Overall a thoroughly enjoyable first experience with airbnb and we'd definitely stay here first if we are lucky enough to visit Paris again one day..
