We are both retired. Living on the beautiful west coast of British Columbia. We are planning a long overdue visit back to the UK to visit family and friends in London, Tunbridge Wells, Canterbury and Somerset. I am somewhat hesitant because the pace of life here is so slow the thought of travelling and London is somewhat daunting at the moment. Erhard is a wood carver and I am a keep fitter who loves walking. We want to take advantage of the character of the places we visit. Erhard has never been to England before so it'll be fun showing him around. He likes to be as close to the authentic way of life as possible hence the pull towards anything quaint and beamed. We'll probably be out all day "doing stuff" but we need to know we are coming back to something comfortable and interesting.
