I was sorry that I didn't actually get to meet Siobhan. A change in plans for her and lost luggage for us just meant for bad timing. But her son greeted us and showed us around. We had our own HUGE bathroom which was clean and lovely. The bedroom is small and unfortunately less clean. Breakfast was plentiful.
Siobhan was very nice and so were her daughter and son. We found the house easily and we were given our own key. We had our own bathroom during the stay.
Siobhan even gave me some cough drops for my throat when I wasn't feeling well.
We had a great time at Siobhan's, she is friendly, informative and has fascinating stories of growing up in Belfast. Breakfasts were self-serve and plentiful with fresh fruit, soda bread and cereals. The location is a bit out of town but no worries with good bus service and inexpensive taxis.
Siobhan even gave us a tour of the more interesting parts of the city. Located within walking distance of Cavehill Park and Belfast Castle, we had a good experience
Staying with Shioban was really nice. It was no problem that I arrived around 11pm, instead I was greeted with late night tea and chat.
The room is small but very clean. Only the downstairs floors were a bit sticky, but with two adorable dogs around that's easily forgiven.
The location is a great starting point for beautiful walks up Cavehill to explore the caves, the castle or just enjoy the amazing view over the city and the whole area.
Siobhan was very kind and the room was good. Highlight was when she drove us somewhere we were going and shared some stories about the neighbourhoods and growing up in Belfast!
We stayed with Siobhan and her lovely family for 2 nights. They were all extremely welcoming and nice.
During our stay, Siobhan and her family recommended places for us to go see and even offered us a lift. They're very easy to talk to and are considerate of our needs. Siobhan even brought up a tray of tea, cups, a kettle, a small jug of milk, etc and placed it outside our room at night so that we could have tea in the morning.
The house is quite large and the private room and bathroom is quite spacious. The family has a dog that just had a puppy (both are very cute!!) so they've been very busy and the house may have been a bit messier than usual. We had everything we could possibly need, including towels and breakfast and very much enjoyed meeting everyone.
Siobhan is a lovely hostess and makes everyone feel comfortable in her home. She arranged a wonderful selection for breakfast.
Siobhan was a kind, generous and very nice host. It was a pleasure to know her. Hélène
Siobhan was a great hostess! She is super friendly and helpful, very open and very kind. She made our stay in Belfast extra special. Thank you Siobhan!
We (me and my two boys) just spent nearly a week at Siobhan's house in Belfast. We felt at home from the first moment and the kids referred to our accommodation as 'home'. In summary, staying with Siobhan was more like staying with family than staying with a host.
Siobahn It was a pleasure hosting for you. You are an excellent guest who is kind and respectful. I would highly recommend you to everyone. I wish you all the best!!
We had the pleasure of hosting Siobhan and her friends for a couple of days. While i did not get to meet Siobhan in person, she was a great guest who communicated very well before arrival, and throughout her stay. They were all very friendly, considerate and responsible guests, leaving the place in great condition. Really lovely folks that we would warmly welcome back anytime!
Siobhan and her daughter were great guests! They kept the apartment very neat!
