Matt and Dilek were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. They gave us many tips about NYC and the neighborhood. Their apartment is very nice and very well located. We really enjoyed our experience!
Matt is a wonderful, welcoming host with a very cosy place located centrally in NY. I enjoyed my stay at his place and would certainly come back.
Meilleur séjour, Matt et Dilek sont très sympas et m'ont fait profiter de leur bons plans et leurs bonnes adresses! Le canapé est très bien et la rue aussi! Je recommande!
great place, location and hosts. Matt gave me some boots to wear because all I brought were sneakers in the middle of a snow storm. I wasn't prepared to say the least. Thanks for putting up with my wet shoes and clothes! sorry about that lol. if you're thinking about booking here, just go ahead and do it already.
Matt e Dilek are very good people. .
They made us fill like at home..receiving us like friends and giving us all the privacy we could need. The house is located in a perfect position to visit New York..very clean and comfortable. It would be a pleasure hosting them in Rome. ..
Matt and Dilek were welcoming hosts, very friendly and warm. The apartment was close to the subway and near loads of great shops and my favorite bookstore, the Strand.
House was pretty good location. It's middle of small JP town. Matt and his wife are very kind. They helped me finding a good restaurant, way to the stores. I really want to use next time too.
What a kick to stay with these two wonderful people. From the moment I reached the top of the stairs and saw Matt looking down the hallway for my arrival, I knew that I would be welcomed. The offer to make tea for me came immediately, and I was shown around and given free reign of the fridge and pantry. I know they enjoyed the Pink Berry Mango yogurt I left uneaten in their freezer, (Pink Berry is STEPS away from their apartment building) and the fact that Daniel Craig and Rachel Weiss live across the street and two floors up was SO fun (name dropping here). I'm still not clear on what is Lower East Side and what is East Village, but where their apartment was had it ALL! Amazing restaurants, again, STEPS away, and a very conveniently located subway stop just about 2 blocks away (the Astor stop on the 6 train). I've got nothin' but love for these two amazing people, and I would stay here again for even longer if I can! Take care, my new friends!
Great people and very encouraging
Matt and his wife were so warm and welcoming it was a pleasure to stay with them! They adopted me at the last minute with a couch to crash on, which is really comfy!
They are both interesting, congenial and have intelligent points of view. It was a delight to share boxed wine, dinner and movies with them. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again!
Want to stay in New York but dont want to spend ridiculous amounts of money? Do you want tasty snacks and a super comfy living situation? How about weird knick knacks to play with and a really awesome shower? If you said yes to any of the above, you should probably stay at Matts place.
Matt is a great guy. He is ridiculously fun to talk to and responsible. I have seen him prepare for visitors. He is thoughtful and thorough. I would love to stay on his couch because I can personally attest to the comfortableness (not sure if thats a word) of said couch and the welcoming vibes that Matt and his wife give off. Anyone would be lucky to stay at Matt's place.
