Hey, I've been living in Costa Rica since 2010. I love to travel and meet people and share in new experiences along the way. Life is short so I am trying to enjoy it one day at a time.

David was very good with communication prior to us arriving, he would usually respond within 24 hours or less.
Once we arrived he was very friendly. He knew the location well and was able to offer us great advice and tips. All of the restaurants he recommended had a great atmosphere, food and service.
The neighbourhood was a gated community. Easy to find and was a few minutes drive from the beach and restaurants. Having a car would be very helpful when staying here, if not mandatory.
The pool was nice to use but we mostly went to the beach and around town.
Affordable with shared pool and large shower plus easy parking in a gated community. No A/C, so a bit hot in March.
Once we arrived at Davids location he was very welcoming. The listing was how it was shown online, beautiful with a great big window into the jungle. The neighborhood was also incredible, a gated community and some of the best wildlife sightings we had were right outside the house or even just sitting in the swimming pool!
My friend and I had a great time at David's place! It was clean, comfortable and secure. David was very helpful. The day we arrived he told us about a nearby waterfall. It was beautiful and totally worth the hike. We suggest taking the long way and hiking up the river to get to it, though. We also really enjoyed watching the monkeys that come to the house at sunset. The pool at the house was beautiful, and the room itself was perfect. It was also really easy to get to downtown Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park from there. We would definitely stay there again.
David has 2 seperate rooms, one is the jungle villa(with a spectaculair view), the other is a room under the main house. This room is the one with working airco! This room is very dark. Both rooms lack a fridge and table with chairs. Location is nice(it's right in the jungle) Shower in the jungle room was cold, other shower was hot.
What a wonderful spot! Conveniently located in a gated community among iguanas and monkeys! The pool was perfect to cool down between beach trips. David was an excellent host and we couldn't have asked for a better Quepos experience! He gave us great recommendations and really went the extra mile. The room is clean and private, everything you need!
We had a very pleasant experience staying with David. The villa is in a great location for the beach and the town. David had many great recommendations and also helped us book a couple activities. The room itself was clean and inviting. We had an awesome time in Quepos.
The jungle villa is just as described, it's a beautiful location and connection to the wilderness. Please note the walk to David's place is up a step hill, not for the faint of heart.
David was amazingly nice, his advice on things to do and places to visit were on point.
As for the room, it is simple there is a double bed with a side table and a rocking share in the room. The bathroom is amazing. What you see in the pictures is what you get.
I can't wait to visit and stay here again!
David was one cool host. He helped me arrange my transportation to the airport as soon as I arrived so I didn't have to worry about it and gave me the details on all of the local attractions and hot spots. His villa is very simple, but has everything you need if you're just looking for a place to crash and plan to spend most of your time out and about. If you decide to stay with David, enjoy the hospitality and easy going stay. Keep in mind, like most places in Costa Rica, if you don't have a car, you can expect to work up a sweat getting to the villa, but there is always a bus or taxi nearby.
David gave us the tip to go to tarcoles' bridge where we could see crocodiles on the way to his home and it was a good idea.
The small house in the jungle was clean and a safe place with a house keeper.
We enjoy to see titi and white face monkeys so as parrots or iguana.
1 st day - we stay 2 days- there was no hot water in the shower.
No air conditioning as promessed into the description, but fans keep us fresh...
For a couple, furniture is missing like a small table and a lamp close to the bed so as a table in the middle of the room to put our things. There was only one chair for 2 persons.wifi doesn't work into the room.
Nice window and view in the jungle but no curtain to sleep....
David was a really nice guy who left the house clean and tidy. I would recommend him to anyone who has a place to rent. Very mellow low maintenance guy who had a good attitude.
