Some facts provided by my family and friends:
1. Internet: The host told us there was no internet after we arrived
2. Bathrooms: According to the host herself, there were only two bathrooms that have shower/bathtub. One of them is in the basement, but the basement had been under renovation and there was construction material piled in staircase and basement, making access to that bathroom extremely difficult. That left us only one bathroom that has shower facility. We are a big group of 9 people, and only one bathroom would not be able to accommodate us.
2. Kitchen: There is a kitchen in the house. However, the hallway and the living room, which should be the access path to the kitchen, were full of construction material, mattresses and bed frames. We would easily knock into any of these blocking objects if we wanted to go to the kitchen, so practically, the kitchen could not be used.
4. We could wait 72 hours or longer, but the host did not respond to any of our calls, Airbnb messages or online request after that night. We had no choice but to look for her at her place. We greeted her carpenters when they allowed us into the house or and we did not bully them, and there are police officers who could prove for us.
