I love live, Maroc, the beach, my animals and the beach! And I would love to share this great Taghazout environment with people from all over the world.

We initially rented the apartment for 6 nights.
The owner of the apartment - Ashley - was not present during our stay and Habib appears to manage the property and respond to airbnb inquiries (this is based on our understanding that Ashley is a native English speaker, while Habib is not). Habib was very welcoming in person.
Arriving in Taghazout was a bit of an adventure, as we had not received any details about how to contact Ashley or Habib on arrival other than a telephone number that we could not connect with. My husband and I eventually found the apartment by asking individuals we met on the street where Ashley's apartment is located (Taghazout is not a large place).
The location of the apartment is central to the beach. Literally its front door is five paces from the sand. There are also a handful of restaurants and cafes within a 2 minute walk.
The living area of the studio is as advertised: small and stylish, but also clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom was overrun with black mold that produced an overwhelming scent of mildew, which made it difficult to enjoy the studio itself. I was particularly sensitive and aware of this being 4 months pregnant and concerned with health.
Also, there was construction on either the main living quarter or the neighbor's apartment, which created a fair amount of dust and debris in our entryway and the apartment and was fairly noisy (i.e., too loud to take a daytime nap). The balcony was also not very usable given the presence of animal waste and that someone else appeared to be using the balcony to sleep.
Communication surrounding our stay was difficult. Admittedly, my husband and I do not speak Arabic or French, but the apartment was advertised in English so we did expect basic communication to occur in English. This being said, language was not the problem, but responsiveness instead. Before arriving, we wrote an email or two inquiring about basics (arrival, parking, etc.), but received incomprehensible responses (one word or one sentence emails) that indicate a lack of understanding of email (or perhaps airbnb) rather than language.
Another example of poor communication occurred when we decided to depart 2 days early (in part because of the mold / mildew and construction). In compliance with airbnb policy, we notified Ashley (via airbnb) more than 24 hours in advance of our early departure and requested a refund for those days. This notification was followed up by airbnb messages to Ashley. We also notified Habib in person. No one bothered to respond to any of our messages. Habib orally informed us that he would speak with Ashley about the refund, but he did not follow-up with us. Needless to say, no refund.
Overall, our experience was diminished by poor communication and the mold / scent of the bathroom and construction. We are fairly easy going travelers and we thought these issues could have been better addressed.
Both habib and Ashley were lovely. Apartment very close to beach.
We were very happy with the stay. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and cosy. The view, from the roof terrace, especially at sunset was maganificent! Ashley and Habib were really nice and helpfull. Thanks!
Dommage.
Ashley and Habib are wonderful hosts, the space was beautiful, clean, safe, cosy and convenient, we felt right at home. Ashley was very lucky to get rid of us as we were tempted to stay permanently! Taghazout is a wonderful place to visit, the people are warm and kind, the scenery spectacular and food delicious - I could gush about it all for ages. 100% recommend this air bnb and all that comes with it to anyone who enjoys lovely things. x
It was very nice trip and i was lucky to stay here. The house has a very interesting history, located just 20 meters from the ocean and looks very stylish and really different then other here. Ashley and his helper Habib are very pleasant, attentive and interesting guys.Thank u guys!
